what do u think is the fastest way 2 make the most money? and does n e 1 no n e ways 2 predict where a special missions are? (i.e.UE transport/Vonolian attack missions...just an example)
Quick way to make money: Go to any mission computer in UE space, and if there are any missions with UE before them, accept it. Those are usually the highest-paying cargo missions that you can start out with to make money. And once you have a formidable combat ship (e.g., a Turncoat) you could do any sort of raid or attack missions for more money. If you become friendly with Voinians and do the Voinian shipping mission which is triggered in a bar, you can get Voinian missions on the mission computer which pay extremely high for some unknown reason. You're also allowed purchase of Voinian Supply ships, which hold more cargo than a Freighter and can actually defend themselves. I hope this helps!

If you want money, I got perhaps the ultimate Get-Rich-Quick Scheme.
The profit out of this isn't too bad, I do this whenever I start a new pilot. From each cargo run, I think you get around 150,000 credits of profit. Not too shabby.
BTW, ESPilot, UE Cargo Missions aren't the highest paying. Stellar Corp. rush missions pay 25K, and they aren't TOO rushed.

There is always the "miser's funeral" run in the Hatuli system, i do this for quick cash if I have a strong ship. The best mission computer missions are the Miranu "Urgent Delivery" missions. These require a fast hyperspace jumping ship, but pay 100,000 credits for each delivery.

The best way to do the Miser's Funeral is to get a Crescent fighter and 6 Freighter escorts, then haul metal and equipment all day long. With 1000+ tons, you get over 100,000 credits for a full load of equipment.

Screw the cargo run on Miser's Funeral, just kill all the blasted renegades. You'll probably make more money.
Yes, but if you do the Miser's funeral, you can take money from renegades hoping to prey on your Freighters.
I find Misers Funeral the best. I usually do it once I have a Transport (you will die sometimes, wait till you get a better ship with strict play on) and gradually higher 6 human freightors. Once you get about 4 mil, fire your escorts and head to miranu space. There buy an Arada and hire 6 miranu heavy freightors. Then go back to Hatuli without landing on any planets, (board renegades for fuel or buy fuel from passing ships. And keep on doing the run. In five hours you can get about 25 mil. Save the pilot and use him in the future, you never need to worry about credits again.

are there any special requirements for "meisers funeral" it also would help for the String Missions Encyclopedia
Not bad...and oh, cool sig Beefpile.

I'm doing this with a UE Destroyer as my ship but get the max amount of frieghters (I think its 7) and go to Pax. You should have about 975 tons of cargo space, so fill your hulls completely with Crassworms. Then go to Omm and sell them all off. With 900 c. per ton on to by on Pax and sell for 1500 c. per ton Omm its a 600 c. profit per ton. The profit works out to a 472,500 credit profit if you have about the same tonage as i did.

I have a detailed description of this four system cargo run cycle on a topic called something like "A Trading Thing" on page three of this web board. Simple definition: Get 6 freighter escorts and buy luxury goods at one end and medical goods at the other. Continue flying through the systems of Aludra, Molos, Valos and Liat. Net profit with 6 UE freighter escorts and player's UE freighter = 390,000 credits per run.

I never thought I'd see a post on the boards praising the Voinian freighter or the Turncoat! ESPilot, you have an, er... unconventional of the usefulness of these ships!

My favourite way to make a quick start to the game (ie get enough money for an Arada before I really get on and explore the galaxy) is to do the dreaded (because it's so dull) metals - fertiliser - food run. As I acquire enough money, I add hired freighters until I have a fleet of 6... I do the run a couple more times, then launch empty, release the other ships from service, and head for Mira.

Thanks Captain DeBlazio!
IMHO, I think the Crassworm run is not very profitable. If you're using freighters, going from Dogover to Omm, is a bit dangerous. Also, the fuel expenses add up too, thats why I stick with inner-cargo run strategies only.

I only do the crassworms run when I have a mission out towards Omm.
