I was playing my file the other day and realized just how close I was to conquering the galaxy including COUNCIL STATION. I decided to go for the glory and spent about 2 hours conquering main planets such as Voina, Igadzra, Veltes, and Zidagar. I almost completed my mission but got a horrible crinck in my neck. Just wondered if anyone out there has conquered the galaxy and if so, tell us some stories about it...

Wow...You've taken all that? I'll bet you're making plenty of money. As far as conquering the galaxy, I've never taken close to all of it. I have conquered all of the UE, Voinian, human renegade, Emalgha, and Igadzra races at once, but not the whole galaxy. Maybe one of these days I'll get everything. In Escape Velocity, however, I've taken over the whole universe twice. Places like Sol and Ruby took a long time to conquer, but it all paid off.

Heh, same here. I got galaxy domination in EV, but never even a whole species in EVO. I've only had ONE planet dominated before in EVO actually. I let them go however, because I was instantly swarmed by Bounty Hunters. I don't find them fun to fight. I find them ANNOYING!!! So I released the poor Voinian world.

In my current game file I've captured Meria, the whole Emalgha system, Kelmaon, South Tip Station, just about all the Strandless worlds, Iothe Prime, Omm, Gorky, The Rock, and that simple Voinian refuelling post that only has UE Merchant ships as a defense fleet. Bounty Hunters are a pain, but my ever growing fleet can take them out with little difficulty. Have I ever captured the Galaxy? No, and I don't think I ever will. I'm just not motivated enough to spend all the time.

Coquering the whole galaxy? Isn't that going too far? I've never tried, but the best I've done in EVO is the Voinian fueling station that another person mentioned. I've come close to conquering the whole galaxy in EV, but EVO must be a lot harder, becuase there isn't and super ship like the Alien Crusier.
