I was a bit disappointed by my journey from Berglum to the Reefs Island and back. Fade out at departure and fade in at arrival.....
This got me thinking. Would it be possible in a plugin to switch the sprite representing the player to another sprite showing a ship. If the answer is yes, the we could actually sail from one place to the other and explore the ocean.
Now, what would really rock would be if there were other ships. And they could be boarded. Switch back to character sprite and clean out the pirates. A quest in Berglum could require one to clean up an area of the ocean (after finding it), land at the pirates' lair, grab something and sail back to the druid at the learning tree. I'm sure the quest part can already be done. But the added spice of the actual sailing could be a lot of fun.

Just to let you kow that those who ordered PoG on CD will get bonus QT movies with it including one for the learning tree and one for this very moment (ship).
