Igadzra Missions

Anyone know a quick way to join the Igadzra without cheating and what planet their missions start on? Also any quick mission routes that give you good money fast would be nice!
Thanks...

Igadzra? I think their mission string begins with eels. (Believe it or not 😉 ) I can't remember where you get the first mission, but I do remember that I thought I was working for a bunch of criminals at first. But the pay-off was a beautiful Igazra. 🙂

Thanks, but more posts are welcome cause I have been looking for their string for ages and can't find it!!!

The Igadzra missions begin on the Miranu planet of Kitrak. They ask you to carry a shipment of Purple River Eels to their homeworld.

Yeah, that's it! I almost refused the mission the first time it was offered, because it sounded so incredibly crazy. 🙂

Oh, and one more thing. I need a quick way to earn money. A cheat plugin anyone can suggest or a strategy would be nice!

LOL!!! Has anyone noticed that the Igazra looks like the ambigously gay dou ship from SNL??

No, no! Don't cheat! There are a couple good ways to make money.

Early in the game I would recommend making cargo runs in UE space. One that I've been hearing around here is buying Crassworms on Pax Station and selling them on Omm, then buying medical goods on Omm and selling them on Telnan, then buying equipment on Telnan and selling it back at Pax. Repeat as necessary. I have never tried it, but with so many people talking about it, it can't be too bad. A much simpler trade route would be buying Tourists on Earth and selling them on New Rome, then buying food on New Rome and selling it back on Earth. Hire UE Freighters for escorts, but make sure you have the money first.

If you already have a good ship you can make tons of money by shooting and robbing ships of enemy strands. Since you want to work for the Igadzra, try disabling Zidaras and Azdgari Warships. They usually carry a lot of credits.

No no no no! You have it all wrong! I agree with your combat strategy, but I reccomend another trade strategy:

  1. Obtain a Freighter, if you're willing to give up your ship that is. It is useful, as for this strategy you want as much room as possible, but without having too much on expenses such as escorts and such.
  2. Hire 6 Escort Freighters, giving you a total of 1120 tons of cargo space.
  3. Go to Atlantic Station in Liat System
  4. Buy 1120 tons of fertilizer (it smells worse than it sounds) 🙂
  5. Go to Alpha/First Centauri, in the Centauri System, a convienient 2 Jumps away!
  6. Sell all 1120 tons of fertilizer. The profit in this, I think is around 150,000 Credits, but I'm not sure of the exact total.
  7. Lather, and repeat.

Tip: I reccomend not using Miranu Heavy Freighters. From what you tell us, you want as much money, ASAP. Miranu Heavy Freighters cost 1.2 Million Credits. Freighters cost 150,000 Credits. and 90,000 for initial hiring price, and after that, 9,000 credits per day. One cargo run, with ALL those freighter numbers (Price, escort hiring, escort daily) only equal up to 258,000 Credits. So the Freighter is A LOT more efficient. 🙂

Ofcourse, everyone has their own strategies...

Well, since you're going to work for the Igadzra, here is what I would recommend.

Work together about 2m credits. (The Igadzra Warship is 15m)
Go to Mira and Hire 6 escort Bulk freighters (the kind that hold 500 apiece) (your ship doesn't really matter.)
Go to the hatuli system.
Land on either planet.
Buy the lower of metal/equiptment on that planet and sell it on the other.
repeat
continue with this until you have all the money you need.

I wouldn't recommend using Miranu freighters. They cost more to hire, and if you do the math your profit margins wind up being smaller with 6 Miranu heavy freighters then with 6 UE freighters. Besides, you'd lose a lot of credits lugging them down from Miranu space to the Hatuli system.

"Miser's Run" (or the Thehir/Gribn trade route) isn't a bad way to go. Just watch out for Renegades. I think that there are still better ways to earn credits than this, though.

If you are trying to make a large amount of money in a short time, and are planning on trading in the hatuli system, definatly get the miranu heavy frieghters as escorts. Althought it costs more, your time investment will be less.

If you actually want to cheat, go download Ace! (Advanced Character Editor) from cnet's download.com
It's a neat little utility that edits the saved game files of various mac games (including most of ambrosia's products). You can edit the date and your credit ### using Ace!

However, being the gamer that I am, I'd suggest you NOT cheat right away. Try making cash in the ways that the people above suggested. If that doesn't interest you, by all means, use Ace!.... but, don't come bragging about your accomplishments then, cuz it just isn't the same.

It seems to me that even if the ue freighter is more efficent in a money spent: money earned ratio, the fact that you're transporting so many more goods in miranu ships would more than make up for that. But I never trade, anyways. It seems like it would be too boring.

Is there a way to sell all of your goods at one time instead of having to click sell 1000 times?

"Never think you've seen the last of anything."

Shift + Command(Apple) + Option sell 100 tons at a time I think. For buying items in bulk, use Command + Option and you can buy 50 of one item per click.
