I started of a new game and I get the first UE mission and i saved up around 200,00 in my shuttle craft doing UE missions but still no messages in a space bar so i moved on to stellar corp saved up some more then bought the Frieghter made by frontier express but the ue still wont give me the defector mission what do i have to have to get it?

The UE missions start on Luna. If that doesn't help, check Earth.

Just check the bar a lot at Luna and Earth. There is a 20% chance that you will get the mission.(According to EV-Edit)

You can get (Misssion 149) Rescue Voinian Defector mission just about any where in United Earth space. Of course you have to be a Good pilot and have already done the (Mission 128) UE Shipping: Recrutiment.

And I am one of those people who have done that. Why not? You can then put Bronov, in addition to Dospect and Neutrons, on your CW, UE Cruiser, or Igazra! It's really quite smart actually, and it's fun making so many changes to the map.
And I don't think the Voinians are THAT hellish or evil. Maybe it's just part of their nature, they have to conquer and destroy.
