I want to clean my record with the strands, but I have a fairly bad record and lack the time to do it the loong way. Is there some way I can do it by editing my pilot file, or some plugin with a fake ID? Thanks

Umm.... You can try to find seant's pilot editor from somewhere on the EV Developers' Board, or you can get someone to make you a plug with a fake ID for the Strands, since there isn't one I know of.
