Okay, there are plenty of threads around where people can brag about how they conquered all the Igadzra worlds in a Voinian Supply Ship with a Krait bay or whatever... but what I want to hear about is this: What's the stupidest thing you've ever done in EVO? For me, I guess it was dominating New Alcatraz... right before I started the Needle Jammer mission string. Either that or the time I tried to plant a space mine in the way of John Cook's escape pod, which was, of course, a complete waste of a space mine, and also, as it happened, of my own ship.... Anyone else?

That reminds me... Because of all those DSN's, I figured that there was nothing east of Iothe or north of Saalia... Then suddenly I jumped randomly from some far-eastern place and found Sumer, where I got promptly blasted by a few stray renegades. I never stopped exploring after that.
The stupidest thing I did in EVO? Well, right now I can't think of any, but I bet there are some.

When I first played the game, I got another fuel tank on my shuttle, got to the Northeastern-most point in UE space, and jumped --- into Igadzra space, where I couldn't get any fuel and they eventually killed me.

Yea, I tried to take over Council Station as well. That's probably the dumbest thing in EVO
in EV, I saw that my other player (who was confed) was able to get the Rebel ships. So I thought that if my other player (a rebel with a cloak device, tractor beam, and 1423.76 mill credits) Died, flew a scoutship to Sol to get my "Confed Cruiser" to find out that I didn't have access, and I had lost my Cloak Device, and my Tractor Beam. I ended having to fly back to Palshife to get my cruiser, and having to re purchase all the fittings at varous places such as Pirate worlds. that took a long time
That was REALLY STUPID.

When I played EVO the first time, I thought (why?!!!!) that that the Drednought mission must be the last one in the UE string and went out to hang out in the Cresent.
The first time I worked for the Voinians I decided that the Voinian Heavy Fighter looked like a good ship. The VERY stupid thing I did was buy it. I didn't have enough money to change to anything else either.

The dumbest thing I ever did was during those missions with that new nebula penetration device thingy or sth like that... I had just worked for about 2 hours to get a voinian cruiser (Don't ask... I was trying to conquer it with a freigt courir) then I went to that planet down there... did some and at the part where you have to explore the whole nebula I noticed that I jumped all over the place. Then I arrived at some system no Ship could reach... and I was out of fuel

Oh yeah! Now I remember a dumb thing that I did!
I did the exact same thing as Black Beard. It was in my main pilot and I also had a bunch of escorts. Next thing I know while exploring the nebula, I've run out of fuel! I had to start a totally new pilot! And what was worse, I could have just released one of my escorts and asked them or disabled them to get fuel! However, I didn't know how to get rid of them yet!
or you couldda pressed escape and reopened your pilot file, thus sending you back to the last planet you landed on....
It was already too late. I had already landed on a planet.
