When Rima enters the Bakka system, she sees the floating wreckage of the now destroyed Outpost Alpha. Carnotaur's escort ship the Prophecied Light had just exited the system. As Rima turned her ship around to exit the system and go back to Sol, suddenly, out of nowhere, half a dozen SAD modules suddenly appear and head towards Rima's ship. Although she tries to evade them, the homing seek and destroy modules collide with Rima's ship, instantly disabling it. Then, the Specter, one of Carnotaur's escort ships, decloaks and boards Rima's vessel. The trained crew easily take over the ship and capture Rima herself, and then put her in the Specter's brig. Then, the crew of the Specter put Rima's ship on auto-pilot. After the Specter cloaks, Rima's unmanned vessel hyperspaces out of the system on auto-pilot to the Centauri system. Once it enters the Centauri system, Rima's vessel crash lands on First Centauri.

I have access to the Galactic Person Registry where I found out about Rima. I had the CW Specter go out and try to find Rima, pinpoint her location, and then board her ship. My reason for doing this will soon be apparent. The Specter had been following her (under cloak) and had ambushed her at the Bakka system. Sorry if I got the timing wrong. I'll edit the timing, but my action still stands.
As for my government, read my earlier posts. I'm a human, but I sympethize with the Voinians, Daedalu's Renegades, and Azdgari (I used to like the UE, but now I don't).

OK, just make sure we know where your resources are coming from. If you don't have a government or pirate fleet, or another source, then the only way to gain income is by doing missions.
Aboard the Storm, Thunder directed efforts to repair Unobot and rebuild the Kayan forces after the renegade attacks on Unobot and Akrahyek. Obviously the renegades were recieving outside help, as renegades do not ususally use neutron weaponry. "Perhaps they have forged an alliance with the Voinians as well..." Thunder thought. "That's the only race with access to neutron weaponry..."
The new Kayan Alliance had survived it's first great challenge, but not without a cost. Though Kayia and South Tip Station escaped unharmed, damage to Unobot was severe. It would take at least 3 days to repair and replace the goods damaged and stolen by the renegades. New ships were being churned out as fast as shipyards on Kayia and Bakoom could to replace those lost in battle. The good news was that retrofitting of pursuit missiles and defense pods was now complete, and all new Militia ships were being produced with them as added standard weapons. Even with this news, though, Thunder knew the battle was not over.
Picking up his communicator, Thunder radioed the Kayan Science and Technology institute. "You know that sensor upgrade we theorized?" he said to the scientist who answered. "It looks like you'll need to start work on it now and complete it as soon as possible. The renegades are stepping up their attacks and they may have help from the Voinians. If worst comes to worst, we'll need it as a last resort. But let's hope it never comes to that."

Daedalus and the Science team arrived safely at Hrekka. 6 Miranu Heavy Freighters Loaded with supplies and personnel awaited them. Daedalus spoke to Stryker and his science team: Stryker, these ships will take you to your lab. It is on a new planet that I found using some stolen Miranu technology. You are to help set up a base there and then you may begin research. Make sure the base remains secret and productive. I had to raid the Kayans in the South Tip to pay for it. Cost me a good some for all the supplies and wages. Good luck. Stryker and is science team boarded a heavy freighter and took off toward the North West. Daedalus sold off two of his Scoutships and blasted off for freeport.
I'll do that, Nova. Titan's post is revoked for action without pause for reaction. Carno would have had to leave Outpost Alpha merely crippled before massive UE forces arrived. Good job Daedalus, but try and make more decisive action when i'm not here.
Lockdown is now commencing, no new arrivals can control nations. The Voinian empire now reaches across UE space. The Azdgari empire now reaches across Igadzra space. Imthebest now controls the Miranu people. New nations can still rise and we will accept new independents.
CONTINUATION: The Zodiac finally lands at Kayia, awaiting information from the authorities.

Thunder, already on Kayia, meets with roostersw and tells him of the recent events.
"The Human and Crescent renegades have formed an alliance, and to make matters worse, they seem to have help from the Voinians. The Kayan Alliance has already sustained two seperate attacks by the renegades, one on Akrahyek and one on Unobot. The attack on Unobot was led by the Wind Theif. Last scans showed the Wind Thief returning into renegade space." Thunder said. "If the renegades have Voinian help, then we'll need to move quickly. Now is the time for action."
"The renegades have their forces spread all over our border after their two attacks." said a Militia officer. "After the damage they inflicted at Unobot, they won't be expecting a counterstrike, and until they can recall their forces they won't be able to defend against one."
"We can't allow the Wind Thief and the renegade forces continue their reign of terror. With the renegade forces spread out, Mavs is vunerable." Thunder said. "And our speedy Militia ships can get there and be gone before the renegades will be able to get any of their ships back to reinforce the system. Roostersw, will you join us on our raid? If so, we leave immediately."

To Rooster: I would have easily been able to destroy Outpost Alpha. The ships that I had in my mercenary fleet (mostly crescent ships, which are superior to the UE) surprised the UE in the Bakka system. Their forces easily fell to me and the Prophecied Light (an Igazra warship which was heavily modified by Carnotaur before he got the Voinian Cruiser Red October) could have easily been able to take out the station.
To Daedalus: Of course I do missions, but only certain ones along my intended paths. I also occasionally have my escort ships go out and grab a few credits by doing missions. Read a few posts back and you'll see that I got 15 Million credits from Nova6 when I gave him 30 cloaking devices.
Heh... I leave for 12 hours and about 100 new posts are added. Okay well here is my continuation. I'm guessing that I arrived at Kitrak with the cargo and got payed.

Buba blasted his ship out of the Kitrak system towards Freeport. Stopping at Huron for a quick refuel Buba requested his landing permission and was accepted. Landing on the small, beautiful planet Buba made his way out of his ship and to the docking-bay manager.
Manager: "Yes?" Buba: "I'll need my ship Dark Shadow filled please. Docking bay 17C" Manager: "Alright, I'll send my men right on it. He should be done in less than an hour." Buba: "Thanks" Buba handed the Manager a small token and headed off towards the bar.
Stepping into the smoky bar he noticed a farmiular figure sitting alone in the corner of the bar. Walking over to him he sat down.

Bored from Titan's lack or response, the Azdgari Emperor listens to random comm frequencies and hears a distress call. He leaves Titan a message to contact him. He leaves and returns to newly enlarged Azdgari Space, prepared to attack the Zachit in retaliation for the theft of an Azdgari Warship. He assembles a fleet of 7 AW's ans 4 AA's and sends them to threaten Zacha Snake. He then takes his personal fleet down to Unobot to help defend against any further attacks. (Personal fleet=2 A Warships's, 2 I Igazra's, and 2 V Frigates's+ my A Arada.)

However, suddenly, one of Buba's crew members walks up to him. "Captain, we just recieved a message from Carnotaur. It says that you still haven't delivered the 5 tons of Purple River Eels to Voinia yet, and he wants you to hurry. He also says the Zidagar are onto you and that 4 Zidaras have been dispatched to destroy you. You'd better hurry if you want to outrun them."

Meanwhile, the Specter had gone to the Human Renegades, where it would be safe from Miranu or Zidagar pursuit. Refueling at Freeport, the Specter then recloaked and hyperspaced out of the system. However...
The Specter was specially equipped by Carnotaur with a special device; a modified Igadzra sensor array. Carnotaur had modified it to cut through nebula interference, allowing ships to enter hyperspace links deeper into nebulas or other high interference zones. Using this special device, which Carnotaur had installed only on the Specter, three other of Carnotaurs escort ships, and Carnotaur's personal ship the Red October. Using this device, the Specter travelled deep into the Proxima Nebula, and then entered the S-570 system. The Specter headed towards the world of S-570, and passed S-570's guards; three Azdgari Warships, captured by Carnotaur's ship the Red October (has TONS of crew and can easily capture a ship like that), that were also outfitted with the special Igadzra sensor array.
On the planet, the Specter landed on a tiny spaceport on the planet just recently set up by Carnotaur's ships. Then, some of the guards on the Specter took Rima out of the brig and put her into the spaceports special high security brig. However, they treated her rather nicely, unlike what Rima had expected. Carnotaur had obviously given them special instructions not to harm her, he must not want Rima to be injured.
As the Specter opened up a comlink with the Red October in the Voinia system...
"Carnotaur, we've got Rima. She's on S-570 at our base."
"I hope you followed my orders and treated her good," Carnotaur replied. "I can't bargin with a half-dead beat up hostage. That'll get me into REAL trouble, not that I'm not in tons of trouble with the Zidagar and Miranu already."
"Don't worry, I always follow your orders. She'll be in good condition for the trade."
"Good. Carnotaur out."
***INCOMING MESSAGE DESTINATION: MIRA AND ZIDAGAR ***MESSAGE: This message has been sent to the Miranu and the Zidagar to inform you that I have captured the merchant captain Rima. I want 2 phase beamer turrets, 80 tons of equipment, and 4 Miranu Freighters for her return. No nagotiations. No modifications to my deal. Accept, or you don't get Rima. Once you deposit these supplies and the Miranu freighters in the Stror system, and I pick them up, I will send Rima in a Crescent Fighter to the Kitrak system. Any attempt to ambush me will be met by destruction. Over and out. END MESSAGE END MESSAGE

Buba's ship, Dark Shadow makes the final leap into the Voina system. Heading for the planet he requests permission to land.
Docking Manager: "Accepted."
Buba pulled his ship towards the planet and it sunk past the atmosphere. The ship's engines flared as it kept the ship stable and slowly it lowered onto the Dock. He quickly made contact with Carnotaur.
Buba: "Carnotaur, I have the cargo. I'm on Bay 331 7A." Carnotaur: "Alright, would you mine re-docking? I would like to have you at my own private dock. Section 2C, the code is 759-220." Buba: "Alright, no problem. I'll be there in 10 minutes." Carnotaur: "Okay, I'll be waiting for you at Gularg's (the bar)." Buba: "Okay see ya."
Buba ended the transmission and prepared his ship for the re-docking. Once he had re-docked Buba headed for the Bar and waited/looked for Carnotaur at the bar.
