And if you're a mission junky, then you're in luck; at least for me, mission resources have been the tightest. My allotment hasn't really seemed like enough, and they got used up pretty quickly.

Think the real problem for Thousand Worlds developers will be the other resources:
MaxShipClasses - 64 MaxWeaponTypes - 64 MaxOutfitItemTypes - 128
If there were a hundred developers, they could each have ten systems, but they'd have to develop less than two outfits each, and less than one ship each. Could be unsatisfying for them.

It's still in development, I'm afraid. But it is coming along nicely.
Keep flash handy, Jack assures us that you'll need it for the website when it goes up.
