Or whatever they're called... Anyway, I'm supposed to take this explorer's apology to the isolated race, but when I try to get there, the hyperspace link is gone! I arrive in the system closest to it, and there is an odd fleet.. Their goverment is Tryakk, but they all have the same name, Xarnez Scientific group or something like that... Does anyone have suggestions on where to go from here? Spoilers are welcome!
I've tried heading back to Ra'fu.. nothing.. And I don't want to attack them unless it is absouloutly necessary because I don't want to piss off the Tryakk..

Unfortunately, it's a bit too late for that, they've already been forced into isolation by your group's actions. The fact that you can't go there proves it, as they destroyed the hyperlink. Going back to Ra'Fu should work.

You've actually screwed yourself over again in that regard. To work for the Centurians, you have to be able to understand their language. To understand their language, you must have a translator. To get the translator you must suceed in getting the Tryakk to like you, courtesy of Glenn. Sorry. :frown:
Actually, it just occured to me that Glenn may still give you the translator regardless what you do. I don't have access to the plug-in right now, but I'll give it a look over later and get back to you. Currently, I'm trying to assemble a small group of people who have played the current version or are playing it.

Well, that'll be one cool thing with 2.0. I've assembled a small plug-in that builds pilots ready to use in the plug by completing one simple Earth-Earth cargo mission.
The Querin missions are finished when it says that you've completed one of the main objectives, and conquered deep into Kytarii territory.

Did I do something wrong in the Q. string? I raid Kytar, then helped defend Defense Post I, then the Admiral says becuase of the counter offensive they need to evacuate, and to meet him the bar, but he is not there, then the planet disappers? Any help?

I found an old archived data file. According to the mission "Evacuate the Station," it's available at Defense Post II, not DP I. Probably a bug. But then again, that's what happens when you mess with visbits as much as I did with the Querin and Kytarii. Expect more flawless results with 2.0 since I now have the startbitset to work with and a more complete, organized understanding of the entire system.
