About the strand war

I've read the word struggle about who's the best in EV : Confederates or Rebels.
Now get to EVO and let me ask this question : In the strand war, who do you think is the best: Zidagars, Igadzras or Azdgaris ? Please justify your opinion.

You do know that this is almost certainly going to become the most flame-filled topic on the boards, right?

And to justify my post, I like the Igazdra best.

Anyway, for me personally. I like the Zidigar (Or is it Zidagar?). There ships aren't all that great but the stupid Igazdra don't even talk to you and the Azdagari think they are superior to every race. Yeah right!! hehe...

One word for ya all: Triple Agent.

As for me, I usually like the Azdgari, but in my new EVO pilot I joined the Zidagar instead. The Igadzra only give you a plasma siphon (which is not strong), SAEs (which are not THAT good), and the Igazra (which you can easily capture in a Voinian cruiser). The Azdgari and Zidagar are pretty good though. They are my two favorites.

Yes, but keep in mind that those SAE launchers take up no less than 105 tons of space, and you can't sell them or buy more ammo (unless you're using Triple Agent like you said, but I'm a purist ). And the plasma siphon IS good. Super-rapid fire and fairly good damage, combined with some impact and a smidge (smidge is a great word!) of inaccuracy, one could argue that it's the best obtainable weapon in the game without cheating.

And yes I know that this topic is very very very worn out but I still have to cast my vote: Azdgari. Azdaras are so fun to fly! And when you stick a shield capacitor or two in there, plus a shield generator and an experimental shield generator, you're nearly invincible. Note that I said NEARLY; I had too much confidence at one point, had stupidly had the pilot on Strict Play, and got destroyed. :frown: Luckily I think I have a backup somewhere.

I'm pretty impartil with the strands. I'll ushally start 3 pilots, one for each strand. and the Plasma syphon IS a good weapon. I don't know if it's the best weapon in the game, but it does the most damage for a weapon that doesn't use ammo. And if you capture a Igdzra, the Agdzari and Zidigar will think you are Igdzra and attack you anyway.

Well, well, well, let me count:
Azdgaris: 2,5 (each 2-strand vote is count a half for each strand, captain carnotaur)
Zidagars: 1,5
Igadzras: 2

This is approximately equal; go on this way.
I have an opinion: I like the Azdgaris, for the Azdara (which I have never been able to pilot correctly), who can in swarm of 6 destroy any single-ship (non-Voinians ), and the shield generator which is useful for any fighter (Aradas the most, but also UE fighters, crescent fighters, etc ).
