Has anyone noticed that all the words, planet names, and ship names of he Crescent are anagrams? I mean, beside from the obvious. Maybe everyone has, but still... Gadzair, Zidagar, Adzgari, Igadzra obviously. But then there's Igazra, Lazira, Azdara, and Zidara (again obvious, except for maybe Lazira). They are only missing one to two letters of the basic stuff each. I realize that they all arose from the same culture, probably Gadzair, but can anyone find anything else with some of those letters in it? Maybe a name of a developer or a small planet in the game somewhere... just checking. Peace Out!

So, we go to the (url="http://"http://www.AmbrosiaSW.com/cgi-bin/ubb/search.cgi?action=intro &default;=8")search(/url) feature.... we enter "Anagrams" into the (url="http://"http://www.AmbrosiaSW.com/cgi-bin/ubb/search.cgi?action=intro &default;=8")search(/url) page.
The webboard processes my data. It comes up with some topics:

I've noticed, and I've built an hypothosis on it too. Here it is:
Long ago, there was only 1 race, called the Gadzari, who lived on the planet Gadzair. Anyway, after decades of civil unrest, war broke out. The civil war decimated the planet and stripped it of almost all natural resources. The surviving factions were the Azdgari, the Zidagar, and the Igadzra.
There was also a much smaller but much more dominant faction called the Council. Through nagotiations, the Council set up a system in which the "Strands" of the Gadzari race were to be under their juristiction. The strands agreed, and then the Council started making its rule clear by making the strands leave the planet. After they left, the Council secretly bombarded the planet, boiling off its atmosphere and blasting off its outer crust. They did this to make sure that the Strands would remain separate, forever.
The strands stayed neutral to each other for a decade or so. The Igadzra settled on a world to the Galactic West of Council Station, recently set up by the Council. The Zidagar settled on a high gravity world to the north, and the Azdgari to a lush green, forested world to the east. During this time the Igadzra became stronger and more paranoid. The Zidagar became fond of drama and such. The Azdgari began their love for fast vessels and being very hyperactive.
Then, the Council secretly sent out six Crescent warships to the Grooz system, where there was an Igadzra settlement. The warships destroyed the colony and decimated the Igadzra fleet guarding the system. They made it look like an Azdgari or a Zidagar attack. The Igadzra, being paranoid, panicked and declared war on its neighboors. The Azdgari blamed the Zidagar for the attack and declared war on them as well. Now all three Strands were fighting, and the Council liked it.
And then, many strand members discovered the Councils plot with the Grooz system, and how they were actually just war thirsty Strand members who just wanted to make the other Strands fight and laugh at it. They discovered how the Council bombarded Gadzair, and so they began to display this news. The Council and the Strands, still under the influence of the war-thirsty Council, outcast these Strand members, who would become "The Strandless Outcasts."
Most of them settled to the South and/or South-West. A few settled near Miranu space. Forever they would be outcasts by the Strands.
And so they still fight today, no one gaining any advantage. It appears that unless someone makes known the deeds of the Council, that the Strands will fight until the death...
