As to the question, all you have to do is to set the option in the preferences section (accessible from the main screen). Then it works, at least for me.

You can make Quicktime movies appear before, during, or after a mission briefing.
First find the misssion's index number by subtracting 128 from its ID. Then create a dëqt resource with an ID of 5000 + specified mission's index number. Put a Quicktime movie in the plug-ins folder, with the same name as the dëqt resource.
For the flag in the dëqt resource:
0x0000 Show movie before text briefing (default) 0x0001 Show movie after text briefing 0x0002 Show movie instead of text briefing

I think he means in the game. Of course, I may be wrong, in which case follow Blackdog's advice.
I set my preferences to Quick Time movies etc. however throughout all my time playing EVO I have never seen a Quick Time Movie... Do they come with EVO or are they only in plug-ins??

When do they kick in and play is what i am asking!
supposedly(sp) after and before missions. But I've never seen them before...
Movies don't come with the game.

There are no Quicktime movies in the standard EVO universe, but plug-ins such as Frozen Heart and Femme Fatale add them. The Quicktime movies option in EVO prefs must be turned on or they will not work.
