Hey... I got this idea at the PDcentral board, and it may have possibly been here before. It also may be so late in EV3's development that they don't need it anymore, but what this is for, is for people to suggest things that they want to see in EV3. I know you guys don't like these question things, but I believe this has potential.
My suggestion... an obvious one... is that I'd like to see tons more aliens. Each faction of aliens would have their own ships and upgrades unique to only them.
More objectives... EVO was an awesome game, but it could have been larger. I know it is extremely difficult to produce such as large and detailed game, but it did go quickly for a good player.
Multi-groups... you should be allowed to join another alien faction after being part of its enemy. I, being meticulous, anal, and obsessive-compulsive, was really mad that it was impossible to get every type of fighter ship in my Igazra at the same time w/o a patch.
More spiffy ships, and be allowed to get more... I can't stand how you can't paint your arada blue, yellow, or orange to match the strands'/zachit's ships, and I also didn't like how you couldn't get an escort of a Miranu gunship. Just minor things, but I'm like that. Another thing I loved about EVO were the bizarre ships you found along the way, such as the S.S. NameHere that give you hints about selling stuff; the ships with names of the development team; the ships such as the U.E.S. Incontrovertible (sp?), V.E.S. Something with the interceptors instead of fighters; the Renegade Azdara with a weird name that I only saw once while jumping into hyperspace after not checking for cool ships before I left the system; and the Lazira from council named Ali Saidai or something. Those ships were the highlight of my life.
Last... explain the Council, and have some Easter Egg that brings some of the aliens from EVO and EVOriginal, such as the Alien Cruiser or some of the cooler ships from EVO that you can get from unique missions. I have a theory... originally when NOVA was supposed to be a patch of some sort for EVO, I bet that the Council station was part of the patch. Maybe that was just my theory.
