I beat PoG last night, but I still am not sure what many of the character stats do. More specifically: How, exactly, does Strength, Dexterity, Vitality, and Marksmanship affect my player? I've been buying up potions to raise these (as well as luck), but I've only got a vague notion of how each of these help me.
Anyway, I plan on playing around awhile and elevating my character for the fun of it, and wanted to know how I should spend my resources.
Thanks! -Paploo

Strength-How hard you whack the SOB's Dexterity-How fast(?)you swing your sword and/or shield(faster means they hit YOU less) Vitality-How strong your health is, more Vitality means more HP added when you level up. (I learned this the hard way) Luck-More luck means your enemies drop better stuff and/or gold. Marksmanship-How well you aim your Elven Bow of Destruction(or other lesser bow weapon) Bow of Destruction is best, but the Dwarven Runic Sword rules as a weapon-1 handed w/Lilith shield and look out Sea Giants(eventually). Mind and Undead protection-Unneeded when your HP=222,str=+119,dex=96. Lesser levels the Heldan hat is invaluable for mind health, Holy cloak I didn't need for undead. Mike

Vitality question...I restarted the game with the Trinity plug...I'm at level 11, my vitality is 19 and I have 108 hit points... When I go up the next level, I choose to add one point to my vitality and come out the other side of the level up with only 115 health. How does this mysterious vitality work should I have gotten 19 or 20 points health? Something doesn't add up...
