I don't know, I never bought it because the investment wouldn't of been worth it.

First of all, Snapz KICKS ASS!!! Ok, see, you hit command-shift-3 (or whaterver you set it to be) and get a little dialog box. You can tell it where to save it, what size to scale it to (if you want), some color-chaning options (like, save it in 16 colors or black&white;), whether you want the cursor visable, and what format (pict, gif, jpeg, png, tiff or mov) you want it in. Now, if you choose mov, you get some more options! What frame rate do you want? Do you want to include the audio that your Mac is playing too? (That kicks ass.) Do you want to overdub through a mic as well? And, do you want the camer to follow the cursor or just stay in the designated spot? (If you're not capturing the whole screen.) There's also a "smooth panning" option, but I'm not sure what that is. Now, you can tell it to capture the whole screen, just a window, just a menu, or the selected area. Voila! A screenshot. If you're taking a movie-shot (for lack of a better phrase), just hit cmnd-shift-3 again when you want it to stop - then you get your compression options box, where you choose your compression settings for the audio and video tracks; you can even tell it not to save the video or audio track (if you just want one). Phew, hope that covers it all! My experience with Snapz is very minimal, but I still love it!

Yes, it's actually just that simple -- you tell it to start recording an area on the screen, and it turns it into a QuickTime movie when you're done. That's how we make the movies of our games to show people on the web site. Have a look at the Coldstone movies, for instance, they were all taken with Snapz Pro:

Alrighty. I'll look at the movies, download Snapz, and see what it can do......
