Has anyone ever noticed that there are no star trek plugins for EVO? Any plugin developers out there who enjoy being completely unorigional in their plug design might like to take a look at this little niche in the plugin market. I have tried to make one myself but my animations sucked and my knowledge of star trek is kinda crap. So if there are any aspiring plug-developers out there who think they could beat Galaxy Class override (not that that is a bad plug), i would be gratefull

Um...there are at least two Star Trek EVO plug-ins I know of...check out (url="http://"http://homepage.mac.com/startrekev")this page(/url) for information on at least one of them. I don't know whose, but someone's signature has a link to another STEVO page, I think.

No, WSR never got finfished, for the Borgs information there is currently two ST plugs in development, one by Kwanza and some other people and another by Metzen and his brother.

Last time I talked to WS...he said he and a friend were re-writing the WHOLE plug. Everything...I helped him out a bit w/ the systems and stuff...but his work is probably VERY slow due to...He has a life maybe...;)
Same with me...but my plug is throughly playable and complete...and it is also being re-worked from the ground up. I'm the main designer of the plug with Andy (from Blazer's board) as bug reporter/missions/design and my little brother...with some graphic support from my g/f. Slow...but safe and careful.

Thank you for your information, your freely distributed knowledge may entice me to not assimilate you all No further replies are necessarry this information is most usefull. to those who had asked where i have been i have been hanging about in the delta quadrent wondering where everyone else is or maybe just at the evo pluggins pages where this star trek plug was not found. Again i thank you for your efficiency in your replies.

Does anyone have any hard statistics or any general idea of how many plugs are made? I've just noticed over the year or so I've been reading around here that an awful lot of people use the catch phrases "plug in in developement" or "the plug in I'm making" or "visit my site to see what my plug in would be". Then there are an awful lot of "whatever happened to this or that plug?" I think sometimes people don't realize what an undertaking a plug is. Granted I have never made one since I don't know **** from shinola about programming, but from reading posts around here it seems like quite a task and you better have an awful lot of free time or your own design team. I applaud all of you making the effort to create your plugs and those of you who hath completed them. I receive a vicarious feeling of accomplishment through all of you.

I know what happened, he submited the reply but then he didnt see his post and tried it for some minutes, then he posted again 11 minutes later. There's some problem in the board because my posts sometimes don't appear imediately.
