I went to fo rescue the general (Detrius, I think), and I found it really hard. I got to the cave, got through the first screen easily. Then the second screen got a bit hard. I 'ran' through and got to the third screen. I could barely fight the monsters there, so I ran around and couldn't find anything. How much farther do I have to go? Should I wait longer before going there? I'm about level 12, with the best stuff (one-handed weapon, not two-handed) you can buy from the blacksmith in Fantrima. I made it to Berglum, where I decided not to buy anything. I only had 1500 gold, and thought it wouldn't be worth it.
So: should I wait it out and buy stuff from the blacksmith in Berglum or someone else?

Theres only 3 screens total, 2 on the first level, and 1 on the second, the general is the deathknight.

The path on the second screen is shaped like a "6", and the stairway to the lower level is at the bottom of the "6". From there, you go through an arch in the lower level to fight the Death Knight. I suggest that you bring a bunch of healing potions (the 40hp ones, can't remember what they're called), and use 2-3 of them as you make your first contact with him.
