I've been programming plug-ins for about 2 yrs when I got ResEdit but I've wanted to make orignal graphics for my ships etc. but I don't have a good graphics program, where can I get one?

There are two applications that Meowx uses: (url="http://"http://www.hash.com/")Hash(/url) and Ray Dream Studio.
Unfortunately, Ray Dream has recently been discontinued by (url="http://"http://www.MetaCreations.com")MetaCreations(/url) in the effort to increase sales of Carrara, which, I believe, is now up for sale to another company.
If you practice with these things enough, you can become decent grapic design artist. But dont expect to create a great cruiser right out of the box- practice is the only way.

Strata3D. It's free - if you're willing to download a 22 meg file and you have OS 8.5 or greater with the latest version of OpenGL

Mechanisto is a popular shareware 3D program; I believe it's available in the add-on files section.
