The people here alwats say PCs are crap. There's only one other person (besides my brother) that I know personally that has ever played EV.(One of my brother's friends likes EVO, too) Most of the people I have ever met hate macs , and although I prefer Macs (duh) I'm stuck with a PC. Oh, well. That'll change when I'm 18. (only 5 more years to go)

This quote has to do with racism and not computing, but the subjective view is essentially the same: "Sambo will only be free when his friends and neighbors and the rest of the world wake up one day and say to themselves and to each other that Sambo is free".
Macintosh computers will only receive what they are due when something happens with PCs that forces them to realize the differences. Y2K would've been great at doing that, but too bad.

Time is visible in all places.
Clock towers, wristwatches, church bells divide years into months, months into days, days into hours, hours into seconds, each increment of time marching after the other in perfect succession. And beyond any particular clock, a vast scaffold of time, stretching across the universe, lays down the law of time equally for all.
In this world, a second is a second is a second.
Time moves forward with unwavering regularity.
Time is an infinite ruler.
Time is absolute.
I thought andrew cut .sigs down to five lines per person. How did you beat the system, forge?

hehe. it is sooooo adorable that you think that. ^_^ time is not absolute: time varies with speed and inertia, and even temprature. Change is absolute. after every lifeform dies, after every star in our supercluster burns itself out, after the universe grows cold and dark, after entropy has won and there is no systems besides black holes left to break down, change will still be around.
Like Heraclitus said- Change alone is real.
Change is absolute.

We Mac users are getting less and less personalization and customization than ever! First they introduced that "launcher" sht, now they make an OS that's just like windows without the bugs. I think Imac's are a great step forward and so's the cube(that little S.O.B. is small!!!!!) but they should still make a type of Mac that veteran Mac users can get into, use and like! They should make one that doesn't start up with some B.S. prepackaged "tour around the Mac" I can't stand using Windows. I wanna put my fist through the fcking monitor after 2 seconds of usage. Every time I look at that P.O.S. Windows I wanna give Gates the finger.
OS X is really not that great. We used it, we deleted it. The reasons why are available (url="http://"http://www.AmbrosiaSW.com/webboard/Forum23/HTML/000203.html")http://www.AmbrosiaS...TML/000203.html(/url) Why Soviet Mikee, is OS X the only reason for buying a G4.... you can run OS 9.0.4 on a G4.... not just on a G3, or are we missing your point? If so, please explain. The new G4 (we have 2 x 500mhz model) is the best computer we have used, beats our friends dual PIII 800 something mhz into the dust when playing Half-Life. Not everyone hates Mac's, just the vocal majority. The Mac is accepted by many to be the premiere computer for schools and graphic design institutes. It's market share is also growing, which is a good sign <IMG SRC="http://www.AmbrosiaSW.com/webboard/smile.gif" HEIGHT="15" WIDTH="15">.

It is amazing how many people think that Mac OS X LOOKS like Windows.
The proper way to say it is that Windows looks like Mac OS X, seeing how WINDOWS was the one ripping Mac OS and NeXTSTEP off.

While altivec can be used in OpenGL games, the whole of Mac OS 9 cannot use it. The only way to get the full power of dual processors and altivec is with OS X
What the HELL are you talking about? What do you mean by less customization? All I see are more options. Once all the third party expansions start to develop...whew... I can't imagion how cool Mac OS X will be
