I know most everything about programing a plug-in but I need to learn how to make sprites. Can anyone give me a guide or some tips on making sprites?

Essentially, you make 36 pictures of the ship, all the same size, with the center of the ship in the same location every time, rotated in 10 degree increments. Then, you put the ship facing straight up in the top left corner, and put the rest, going clockwise, into a 6X6 grid.
You can do this manually or use (url="http://"http://www.ambrosiasw.com/cgi-bin/vftp/dl-redirect.pl?path=evo/utilities&file;=Pics2Sprites.sit.hqx")pics2sprites(/url).
This and everything else you need to know to make a plugin is found in the (url="http://"http://www.ambrosiasw.com/cgi-bin/vftp/dl-redirect.pl?path=evo/utilities&file;=evobae.hqx")EVO Bible(/url).
(Both of these files are in the addon section under utilities. The EVO bible link I gave is for normal EVO, the 1.0.2 bible is (url="http://"http://www.ambrosiasw.com/cgi-bin/vftp/dl-redirect.pl?path=evo/guides&file;=OverrideBible102.pdf")here(/url)

Bear in mind that a good programmer isn't necessarily a good artist/designer. For this reason, it's a good idea to collaborate with a friend or two when making a plug that introduces new planets or new equipment. Preferably someone that you know, and preferably someone who can show you completed projects, not just bits and pieces.
Good luck Antilles (And... please... sort out the spelling in your sig.)
