No music on windows version.

I can't hear any music on the windows version of PoG. I keep pressing control-m for toggle music but it won't play. I'm using Windows XP and a Creative Sound Blaster AudioPCI sound card. Please do what you can to help

Do you have Quicktime 5 installed? It is required to play the music.

Get it at: (url="http://"http://www.apple.com/quicktime/")http://www.apple.com/quicktime/(/url)

If you have it however, try to open a MP3 with the movie player that comes with the installation of Quicktime. If you don't hear it, it's probably an error with your Quicktime installation.

This is a problem? 🙂

I consider the music a major annoyance, probably the worst feature of the game. They really should include the music toggle key in the help screen or the manual.
An in-game volume control would be nice too.

Plug-in idea: allow the player to shut off music by finding and killing a musician in each screen 😄

Or someone could make wandering minstrels that you could "recruit" to follow you around,
so that you had a virtual band accompanying you, ala. "Sir Robin, the not quite so brave as Sir Lancelot." And then, when times got hard, you could eat them. 🙂
