Zax regenerates, and then devises a machine which creates an anti-DE whenever a DE clone is made, thus obliterating all duplicate DE's.

DE pushes a button on the anti-DE machine to make real DEs. Now twice as many DEs come out and kill Zax.
LifeKnight regenerates and attempts to summon the emporer EVula to get rid of the DE clones. . .. ... .... ..... Hrm. No response. LifeKnight is tired of being destroyed and having to regenerate. LifeKnight forms an alliance with EVWeb, Zax, and all others who have attacked DE in an attempt to destroy him. LK throws DE in the new acid pit.

EVWeb shuts off DE's regenerator, then kills him and his duplicates. Then gets another drink.
LifeKnight begins work on a nuke missile launcher.
DE gets a recharge and a new Army. DE destroys the nuke laucher in a firey explosion that kills LK and EVWeb.
EVWeb creates a toxin that makes DE hate himself, so all the DEs start killing each other. Then EVWeb ( you knew this was coming ) has another drink and then runs to the bathroom, as he is about to puke.
Sejuk remebers that the Boozerama is a crashed freighter, he walks out of the bar, and before anyone can stop him comes back with a massive group of mechanics. In seconds the Boozerama is ready to fly. "This is captian Sejuk, of the S.S. Boozerama, were going to take over the world and set up Boozeramas on every planet!" Sejuk charts a course for the nearest inhabited system.
