Other than bringing him the head of a current mod, you could also try hanging around the EV community for several years in a row and creating a website (that has gone through several incarnations) that, while boasting itself as being a site for EV, has very little game-related content on it. Thats what I did.

Another way I found to work fairly well was to build up two sites (be sure to the build the first unofficial site for a new game), start up a few sucsessful RPG's that have lasted for years, and then wait until a current mod gets kicked out for pirating software and talking Andrew into letting you have a spot.
Worked great for me...I'm thinking of writing a book about it (top 20 ways to become an admin).

oh so thats how to do it! ill never be a mod. im too far away to get anybodys head. and i have almost no computer knowledge(except for playing video gams and beating them in the the first few hours i play them) i searched the nebulae(in evo) after only having it for about a week.oh and octoberfost how did you become honored leader?
