Well, if it wouldn't it would be a little unrealistic... Where else could it go?

And if someone is going to make a level with 2-tile rock barriers (info (1) set to 1) remember that it doesn't make the rock barrier shorter, it just makes 1 tile invisible. In other worlds, the barrier stays at the same length.

Anyone know how to get the Rock Barriers to work right with more than one boss?

Dual -1 set barriers obviously won't function. You'll have to use clever means via conversation actions, or buttons, or perm flags.

Hmmm...Dr Tall swoops to the rescue:

You want double boss doors to force you to kill both bosses before you can leave? Well first off, the FW auto-block will stop after the first boss is killed so Ferazel needs to go over a locking door before he enteres the boss arena. (A door with a switch right next to it, enabling Ferazel to open to the door but then it closes behind him).

OK, now to lock Ferazel in after the bosses. Hmmm....I know. Ok now pay attention:

Design a dual exit thing so that the boss chamber (the FG tiles) go like this:

(a * stands for filled rock space since ambrosia UBB doens't reconginze spaces)
(a ~ stands for empty space)

OK now for the key:  
  
CZ= Cut off zone, Ferazel will not pass this point before one boss is killed.  
S1= A switch, no info adjust.  
B1= A rock barrier, set to open by S1  
B2= Set to open by -1 (opens when the boss dies. This barrier is technically optional but just in case something goes wrong it makes a good backup.)  
S2= A switch, set info (0) to 1  
Exit #1= Set info (0) to -1  
B3= Barrier, set to open by S2  
B4= Set to open by -1 (opens when the boss dies. This barrier is technically optional but just in case something goes wrong it makes a good backup.)  
Exit #2= set info (0) to 1  
  
What happens (in English):  
  
1\. Ferazel kills boss #1  
2\. Ferazel passes CZ point  
3\. Ferazel depresses S1  
4\. Ferazel passes B1  
(B1 closes behind Ferazel)  
5\. Ferazel passes B2  
6\. Ferazel deperesses S2  
7\. Ferazel leaves using exit #1  
8\. Ferazel returns to level  
9\. Ferazel passes lock-door again  
10\. Ferazel kills boss #2  
11\. Ferazel passes CZ point again (since Ferazel is re-entering the level, the CZ point becomes active again)  
12\. Ferazel passes B3  
13\. Ferazel passes B4  
14\. Ferazel leaves using exit #2  
  
There you go, a double boss level :D

The Speakable Charcter is you - the creator of your World. Ferazel comes up to you and you ask him what he thinks of your World. If he gives an answer you arn't happy with, the conversation opens Ba2 (action 6, arg = number in info(0) of Ba2 arg2 = 1...I think) and Ba2 releases Bu1. Ba1 is held open by Bu1 and so when pressure is released from Bu1 Ba1 is closed. This wold lock the player in the room and you could put Retracting Spikes in the room that stayed down for a l o n g time then came up. You could also put them on the walls to prevent the player from escaping that way. If the player has an Escape Ring, he/she will be able to escape, but they won't be able to talk to the creator again, and if you give the creator an answer he/she likes, the creator could give you somthing! šŸ˜„ šŸ˜„

P.S. Sorry for the rubbish diagram. I have ever done 1 - that one. Also, it was AVN who came up with the idea of the Barriors closing.

Anyone figure out how PixMids work? I think it has something to do with Level infos (8)-(10), but Purple Haze has 0 in those fields and has a PixMid.

Well, I've figured out how they don't work. You can't add one without setting some kind of flag and you can't remove it without setting something as well.

Uhh... I tested this a bit with Shield Goblins and knife goblins, but they had the same toughness. How did you make it work?

Yes but remember that the ID's to use are the 1-26 IDs, not the sprite type ID. A treasure chest may be locked by any of those and may contain anything except for Red Xichrons.

This is sorta off topic but...

The mascot guide which every 3-4 months gets remade is a mess, :frown: I am saying this because I have four different copys and none of them have everything I need. Because I don't want to type something like that from scratch I am going to try to combine all of the guides into one monster guide (probably in simple text format because it is already like that but I guess i could change it.) In this guide I will try to put in some features that are missing including:
- Tile IDs 200 = water and so on
- Examples or pictures for hard to understand concepts
- anything else people post here to tell me to add
