Hardware requirements

The PC version lists the hardware requirements at:
P3-600, Geforce 2
128Mb RAM

The Mac requirements (listed here: http://www.ambrosias.../games/defcon/)
Requirements: Power Macintosh G4 or better
MacOS X 10.3.9 or later

PowerMac? What gives with such a difference in requirements between PC and Mac?

A Power Mac G4 can run as slow as 450 megahertz. So they're pretty much on par with each other.

Oh... so do you think my 1G (Solo) MacMini w/1G RAM will handle Defcon?

It should run it just fine.

Just for the record, I have a first edition 12 inch Powerbook running a G4 867 and 32MB nVidia card and Defcon works just fine as far as I can tell....

My 400Mhz G4 runs fine with just 1v1. I win for having the slowest computer!
