I have the whole strand of the Zidigar dominated besides Zidigar itself, and was wondering:What happens when I dominate a whole strand? Anything special?
You mean you have dominated all the planets? Sorry, I don't think you receive anything other than a bunch of tribute credits.
And welcome to the boards.
And some degree of bragging rights.

Way better than stinky old credits. Especially when you can include Council Station. Without cheating.
7 Dreadnoughts make short work of Council Station. Without cheating. Or an Enhanced Arada and 6 Dreadnoughts, if you prefer. I suppose technically it's possible to beat Council Station with a Shuttle, unless the fighters can't be bribed, but who has that kind of time?
How....
The HELL...
do you get 7 DREADNOUGHTS!?
He he he. Not telling.
My question is: How do you get seven dreadnoughts without using system 7? Under OS 8, your range is reduced by a noticeable fraction.

Easily, of course. You already know that I'm able to Monty-Python the Dreadnought with just Blaze Cannons. I think I made a topic a while back about the Dreadnought, and posted in it my method of capture. I'll see if I can't dig up the link...
Here we go: Capturing Mission Ships, Shield Status: -2147483648%
It involves having a Voinian Cruiser with 5 Voinian Cruiser escorts and having Marine Gear. Once you've got 7 Dreadnoughts you can pretty much do whatever you want.
