YAY! Now I don't feel so alone :D. I've got a power PC but everyone else has an iMac or something better. It sucks to have a bad comp but it's nice to know that you don't suffer alone.

...but if you do the Paaren missions, you should have access to that tech. Besides which, the technology you get access to is not dependent apon mission bits. They only require that the stellar in question's special tech level be set to a certain level. So it really is THEIR idea...
