Hold down shift the entire time, don't bother getting secrets, just run through as fast as you can. If you think you're going to die, find a teleporter. Just keep on running.

Oh really, well, I didn't have to. In fact, I think 1 part of that level is luck. The spinning and moving cannons. If they don't end up pointing the right direction, You wouldn't know how long it would take to get past them. That's the only luck part of the level, and it drives me crazy when it takes all of my time away! :mad:

In some areas with the spinning cannons, if you miss a cannon you can run to the end, climb the wall and then jump into the last cannon from the wall.
If the wall isn't climbable, use your tree trunk spell to boost you up to the last cannon and jump into it when it is just about to point up.
This saves all the time trying to get through the cannons. If you want to get through using the cannons, "exit" the cannon when it is at it's lowest point. (Works with most of them.)
No luck involved if you know how - all skill and knowledge.

Why thank you so, so, so, so, so, so, much! I've beaten the level once, but only by 8 seconds, and the door had already closed behind me (I hated that! :mad:I hated that so much!) before I could get to the saved game point. What the heck, maybe I'll try it again. And beat 8 seconds.

Actually, for some reason, I believe its the quicksand that slows me down, and the part afterwards. The cannons I can do fine.
When you get to the quicksand, climb up the wall and fire a hole in the ceiling. Then you can run across the quicksand instead of trying to swim through it.

It's hard.It took me at least 40 times to open the rock barrior near the end of the level with that fire following me. Almost anyone would go harebrained after dying in that level 15 times - or +. I swore thousands of times. :rolleyes:

Ferazel9999, at the top-left corner of every post there is the date it was last posted in. This was last posted in August. It is now December. I think that may be a bit to big of a lag. In general try avoiding really old topics. If you go into your preferences and say, only show topics from the first 20 days, and don't scroll through the other pages, you can pretty much avoid this whole problem all together.
