I am terrible at fighting Xichra, and never really got into it. I was kinda disappointed after all tha work on Ferazel, it was a bit of a let down. Too much repetition, not enough variety. Do you have a specific strategy for the Dread Duel?
Welcome to the boards and congratulations for besting the best that Evil had to offer. If you are up for some new challenges I highly recommend Extemporaneous; a gorgeous Ferazel's level set which was created by yours truly. I would also recommend Basic Nothingness (truly amazing) and Verrrana (Very nice)
Congratulations and good luck on the challenges ahead.

You know, this shameless promotion gag is going pretty far. If someone doesn't ask for your level to be shoved up some new guy's arse, don't do it. Yes, I've done it in the past. But this joke has become a trend, one I'm not too fond of. Knock it off, all of you.
The EVula in particular schtick was old years ago. It's not funny, it's even irritating. If he weren't a mod I'd tell him up front to stop it.
The next few times I'm going to give warnings, and then I'm going out for blood.

Spammie is the moderator that rocks. This EVula stuff belongs not on these boards. Let's stick to Ferazel stuff here. Ok? And let's also not get all carried away with self promotion. If you make great levels, you shouldn't have to shove it in everyone's face over and over.

OK a few tips for all you out there:
#1 : try to find the exect place that you should stand in order to avoid from the falling things (you know - those red things with the thorns and the stones.
#2 : coming soon (and there are many more!!)...

This is the part which I assume applies to me: **
Although, I agree with you, Spamguy, on the overload of self promotion on these boards, hear me out. I have always found you to be a fair and just moderator. And I as well as others, I believe, looked to you for what was and wasn't appropriate. I remember when I wouldn't have dreamed of putting testimonials in a Read Me, until I saw it on Basic Nothingness. And I wouldn't have seen it appropriate to advertise my world, in my signature, or my posts. If you had not done so first.
Before you condemn the marketing craze which has been let loosed upon the Ferazeling world remember who brought it here. Trusted Moderators are like judges, they set forth precedent. I recommended new worlds to eden pelleg because eden pelleg had completed the game. I think that is a very appropriate time to mention plugins.
I recommend that those who have created worlds just smack 'em in there signatures. Then it is always there without having to appear so pushy as to offend Spamguy. Spamguy, I still respect you (as much as one can respect a bunch of letters on a screen) and please do not see my actions as Anti-Spamguy, please just be aware of the power which you wield.
So back to the topic at hand: eden pelleg- so you don't climb up the wall of the left and fight her?
(quote)Originally posted by Emperor Ent: This is the part which I assume applies to me: (/quote)
It applies to no one in particular. So many have done it as of late.
(quote) Before you condemn the marketing craze which has been let loosed upon the Ferazeling world remember who brought it here. Trusted Moderators are like judges, they set forth precedent.(/quote)
Perhaps. But if I am the commercialising pioneer that you claim I am, then no one else did it prior, and it was "innovative" (maybe). Everyone's doing it now, and it's definitely tired. Coincidence? If I started this trend, I'm deeply sorry I did it. It's even a tiny bit rude to answer questions no one asked.

As I noted previously: did he ask for plug-in suggestions in his topic? He did not. So don't shove it in his face.

I don't shove this board around a lot, I think, and Zelda does even less. If I did as CptnTripps often does on Banter & Brawl, I'd lock the topic with a one-word justification. Sometimes I find his reasons, if even supplied, objectionable. Keep in mind that I've been liberal on judging so much content here, and I plan to keep doing that.

I am perfectly happy to stop the my marketing dogs whenever a new poster comes along. However, I still feel I was right it mentioning some level sets in this case. If it was, "I am on level two and I'm stuck" Then no it isn't appropriate. But in this case I believe it is perfectly fine.
I think this board has some of the best mods this side of Planet of the Great Mods. But I disagree with you to some level. Disagreements are what make the world great
I guess what bothered me about your first post is that it struck me as an attack on a me and re-reading my first post, I see how cautious I was; it wasn't flagrant self-promotion. The presumed "attack" seemed unfair. Mayhaps, I misinterpreted your intentions I made a jibber-jabber post about marketing in this topic: (url="http://"http://www.AmbrosiaSW.com/cgi-bin/ubb/postdisplay.cgi?forum=Forum7&topic;=000730&whichpost;=EmperorEnt08-30-200210:53PM")The Labyrinth (/url)

I disagree. The weblinks gets little traffic. Its just a bad location and out of the way. Whereas a link in a signature gets much more attention. I think that's the best solution. Just my two cents.

Waal, it's the Duke for sure, but I can't remember the movie. (I know the scene, just can't remember - Rio Bravo, Rio Grande, Red River? One of those River movies? John Wayne is selling cattle anyway. "I'm not gonna hit ya...")

Always the valiant one, MonsterLady. I think it was Paul Simon who said, "Blessed are the peacemakers."
I was referring to the second highly adapted quote. The one about OBW on one said and Dr. Tall on the other. I know the OBW/Tall wars are over, I just wanted to use this quote. It's from A Fistful of Dollars, Clint Eastwood's first picture and its really spectacular, I highly recommend it.

Ent - in reference to your Clint/Fistful of $'s quote - I stand corrected. (I've been wrong before, and will, no doubt, be wrong again.)

I thought that was Jesus Christ? Paul Simon said that? Well, he copied the man.

I was wrong, it wasn't peacemakers it was: Blessed by Simon and Garfunkel
Blessed are the meth drinkers, Pot sellers, Illusion dwellers.
Really a great song. And yes I think he got some ideas from some Big Book or somethin'.
I knew it was JC - Matthew, Chapter 5 - Sermon on the Mount - "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the children of God" - but thought it wasn't worth getting into a fight over!

Thanks for your tip - I'll try it right away.
Tip # 2: In order to use as few as posible seeds I'm waiting for the "canons" to be in the exect position (facing to the oposit way from the queen) that is very dificult if you keep climbing the walls. so I strongly recomend NOT to climb up the walls, it take ages and you can't aim the seeds into the canons from there. so stick to tip #1 & #2 and wait for Tip #3 who is coming soon...
If you have any more tips, please write me about them.
