Last year some friends and I performed Act 2 at school. This year we are going to do the whole play. It is going to be marvelous.

Ha I'm about to perform that play in an hour or so with my acting group. If you must know, I'm the cook's daughter, Macbeth and Laertes. Heh. I am Daniel in our play so I get to be Romeo, Laertes, the Nurse, the rapist, a witch, Caesar, a slew of British monarchs, Horatio, Polonius, and some other more minor characters. It is going to be great fun, but a lot of work owing to the fact that we are doing this play on our own, outside of school. And that is a lot of lines for a three person play. We have already started rehearsing this is going to be hilarious. During our first read through we laugh until we cried at the Macbeth stuff. I can't wait.
Yeah, there are more than three people in our play. BTW, the play's tomorrow.

My school pulled out all the stops when they did this last year. Not only did they include the word d!ck, they made fun of censorship by having the girls scream "pen!s" during the rap. A number of cuss words too. It offended some, but it got rave reviews.

I loved that part. I wish I could go see it again, but I'm stuck playing for Guys & Dolls in the pit orchestra instead. Now to convince the troupe to acquire their new American History play...
