I was thinking, what does the Ice Boss look like anyway? Is it a Giant Today? Who knows? No one, except for Ben. What does he look like?

He don't exist. Check the sprites with ResEdit and you will find no ice boss. However, a very clever level creator named Emperor Ent had an ice boss (that looked very similar to a fire boss )

I actually tried to test if the code still existed, but experiments have been inconclusive so far.

I can see how there could be an ice boss....and a fire boss...but not both in the same game. You could tint the fire boss to be an ice one but you couldn't have both in the same level set. Or does Emperor Ent have a nice excuse as to why the guardian of the Ice Realm is red and shoots fire balls?

His eyes are red. And he does shoot fire balls. Is there are law against that? I don't intend to have fire boss. Therefore, it is fine. And I don't want to make people download sprites, not with Extemporaneous anyway :).

We know that there once was an Ice Boss level because it says so in ResEdit. Just look under the level names in the World Data.
Ben did a few levels of the ice genre during beta. I remember playing through one of them...it wasn't very interesting. By b4 it was pretty obvious what was there was going to be all there was ever going to be.

Originally there was going to be an icy version of the fire demons but then later it seemed like that would be too repetitive, and at that point there wasn't time to do a whole original ice boss. I know it seems unbalanced since every other section of the land has a boss. Oh well. Sorry guys.
