(3) Type of rock: 0=Normal 1=Explosive

ENEMY PIPE
(0) ID of enemy
(1) Minimum Ticks between launch

For the enemy pipe, (1) is only the minimum amount of ticks. A monster will not respond if it is still alive. Once this monster dies, it responds unless the minimum ticks have not elapsed. However, there are several monsters which FW does not understand to be alive. These monsters will respond immediately after the tick time elapses. I have not tested every monster but I know that these do that:

Insect Swarm
Flying Gremlin
Salamandrake
Spider

This does not seem like a bad problem except that if you have a large level and set even one enemy pipe to respond one of these monsters with a low tick number....that section will be swamped with that enemy. Insect swarms are fine but very annoying since they hunt you down but if you leave one of the other three alone in a room for the duration of a big level, you will run out of space in the sprite pool. This error will pop up on the screen every time a new monster is created and then destroyed for lack of memory. Increasing FW memory does not increase the sprite pool. If you want to use one of those enemies in an enemy pipe, consider the info (1) to be the actual ticks between launch, not the minimum.

It's "shareware" but nothing new is granted upon registration...something I call freeware. It takes a little getting used to but it looks better in the end.

Thanks a lot, Dr Tall. I tried making Enemy Pipes drop Death Powerups, but these never disappear, and would have probably caused a 'Sprite Overload'. I still haven't used DOCMaker. I shall send youi a read-me file, if you want, when I have used it.

Not much been done on the World lately. Been concentraiting hard on the read me. (appologies for my rubbish speling.)

I'll be gone beginning this Thursday until August 2nd, and most of that time before I leave will be preparation for going, so I won't get much time to play your levels, much less Ferazel's Wand in general.

Really, where are you from? All my other Beta testers are 6-8 hourd behind me, this makes it hard to talk to them instantly... :frown:

Fixed in 0.0.5:

  • Nodes work better. (Actually, now they work.{Going on from 'Burning Caves', that is.})
  • Boss level been worked on...a bit.
  • Level 1 has fixed wall...again!
  • Level 1 has an extra bit at the beginning. This makes it easier to kill the Flying Gremlin. (You don't have to cling to the wall to the right and be hit by the Axe Goblin.)
  • Read me file now made with DOCMaker.
    NOTE: Read me only about 50% complete.
