What are some of the funniest or oddest things that have happened while you were playing?
The funniest thing I've seen is a pirate defender go after a Kestrel trader. A lone pirate. On the version I changed, I gave shuttlecrafts Rebel Carrier bays, and Mantas had Confed Cruiser Bays. I changed the AI, too. Only time I've seen a shuttle kill an alien.
The oddest moment was a glich during the R-U-N pirate mission, where there's the huge battle as the last mission. I cloaked for a second, and all the ships stopped. After I uncloaked, they stayed stopped. Easy Pickin's from there.

Took me over a month (real time) to kill the Alien Cruiser in a Kestrel. I was too dumb to figure out that I needed to stay away from its fusion beam.

Me in my Rebel Cruiser, a Defend Turin V mission, there was one Manta in the system as the pirates jumped in, I left to get something to eat (and left the game running) I came back to find a single Scoutcraft still alive shooting the **** out of me. I was nearly dead from a Scoutcraft and I was in a suped up Rebel Cruiser, then I turned my guns on it...

That was very lucky. You got the second most powerful ship in the game without doing their string, with the smallest possible odds. I wish I could do that that too, the Kestrel is good but ofcourse a Rebel Cruiser is even better. Nothing can beat it... except probably a Rebel Destroyer.

Fifteen darksider ships, four super destroyers, eight widowmakers, and four kestrals jump into a system. Then two dreadnoughts and four heavy cruisers jump in, along with four mafia strike cruisers. My ship dealt some severe blows to the darksiders, but, just as the last few darksiders were being destroyed, my ship got caught and destroyed in a nuclear blast.

That seems hardly possible, LabRat. Darksiders are only in BOTK, which has not been released yet.

I just did that today using the Nova port. I had a courier at the time.
It's amazing what skulking around battlefields can do to increase your firepower...

It's a lot easier to board and capture warships in BOTK; there are a lot of derelict warships floating around. Since they're derelict, you don;t have to worry about boarding them before an enemy warship destroys it. Just board it, take upwards of a million credits and a good million and a half credits worth of Nuclear Rockets....
LabRat: you also have too many ships in your story. The system limit is 32 ships. You have 42.

Sorry, I think I might have been off a bit in ship count, as it happened about three months ago. Also, in EOC the darksiders sometimes jump into the sytems. I have never done any hacking in my life (excepting Uplink.) Grrrrr. I Never Hack!

Oh yeah! I've gotten to above average in a shuttlecraft just by speeding up and making the last few blasts to a warship to get all credit.

I think the rebel destroyer kick more arsh, it's like having a lighting but it's a destroyer, with all the upgrades, I think it's the best ship in EV.
