so whats the longest you EV addicts ever played EV straight?

i know back in the days when i first aquired it i played a lot. but not many people can say they played it for about 27 hours straight. ma went away for a weekend and i didnt go to bed till my eyes were bloodshot and i coudnt focus on words anymore. havent played in a while though. maby i should hook up my old mac and play again. im surprised it still works. it broke one time when i was actualy doing something importent and i got really mad and hit it with a baseball bat, and the damn thing started to work again. it was wierder then hell. at any rate i think i babbled enough.

The longest I ever played with only a few bathroom breaks was 16 hours. I started at 8 pm, messed around until 8 am, then demanded a tribute from Sirgil Starport. The next four hours was spent taking out the defense fleet.

About 10 hours. I played some story lines then demanded tribute from Earth, and lost after 5 hours of going through ships with my rebel cruiser. 😛

Dont demand tribute from Earth. Thats your lesson. 😉 You could have had Alien Cruiser and it still would have take hours. 😛

A measly seven hours here. Just five for Nova, and only about three and half for EVO. However, none of these involved demanding tribute.

Meh, I've only played for a pitiful eight fours straight. I was suprised my mom even let me stay on the computer that long, too...

True dat. I mentioned earlier that it took me four hours to dominate Sirgil Starport; that was with the Alien Cruiser and forklifts. Earth's defense fleet is more than three times larger than Sirgil Starport's, and is composed of more powerful ships. I would guess that it would take 12-14 hours to dominate Earth.

 It took me about 30min to dominate Sirgil Starport and Sirgil III. And that was in my deadly fleet of Rebel Cruisers. I think the longest I spent may have been about eight hours. Most of my EV playing was on a laptop, so I had to let it cool down for an hour every couple hours. Let me tell ya it gets extremely hot when it's on your lap. 😉

Fourty-Two hours. Seriousily. It used Res-edit to make things a little easier though. I dominated Earth with my escape pod that I souoed up, and then I kept running around dominating places. Just to say I played it for the "Answer to Life, The Univere, and Everything." I slept for sixteen hours the next day. It was Spring Break last year.

Bah, you must be weak. I've stayed up for 72 hours straight. I was in my room every night, playing Monopoly against myself on my SE30 from 11pm to 6am. Another time, I played EV all night and didn't go to bed at all. As a result of this, I kept falling asleep in school, so my teacher sent me home. I slept from 10am to 3am, got up to make some toast, and went back to bed until noon. Damn, I felt great after that 🙂

18 or 19 hours. Most of that time I was jumping around hoping MB's Kestrel would show up again. When he beat down my shields to 10% or so, I'd bug out, re-outfit and try again.

(Don't bother bragging to me about how you beat MB. I refuse to believe it's possible ... without Resediting yourself into some super ship. Don't even try. You're lying, and I know it....)

So you never fought MB for more than ten seconds at a time? 😛 😉

Or, you could even attack Sirgil with a Confederation fleet in the new plug-in, Confed Rule

I played for 16 hours. Then I demanded tribute from Ruby, and said bye-bye to my beloved Rebel Cruiser. :frown: Made me so sad after 5 hours of fighting.

I have dominated Earth, and it didn't take me all that long. A couple hours maybe. I know it wasn't that long because I would have gotten kicked off the computer after a few hours anyway. My ship was a Kestrel with forklifts, and I didn't use any plugs. I was just bored and thought I'd attack Earth.
