Take the all the plugin files (they usually look like little jigsaw peices) and drop them in the EV Plug-Ins folder. Depending on the size of the plugin, you might need to allocate more RAM to EV.
Oh, and I'd also download version 1.0.5 , It's much more reliable.
(edit) also, really early versions of EV don't take plug-ins, although I think that was just version 1.0.0(/edit)

Yea. Its a wonder he managed to get a that early version. From a old disc? The original version of EV didnt take plug.uns? OMG that is teh suk 1!!!! Plug-ins are that what makes EV. What makes EV different from other space games. I am shocked to hear this. You know the reason why?
