Would you look at that, people are still playing Escape Velocity. I'm a newcomer to these boards, but I still remember staying up late beating the Confeds, than the Aliens, then beating the Rebels. EV has come a long way since than. Yet people are still making EV plug-ins. It speaks for the amazing game Escape Velocity is

yes it is, escape velocity is a great game. kinda wish i never hit my mac with a baseball bat after i got really pissed. now i cant play it anymore :frown:

Just for the record, I don't play EV anymore. Don't get me wrong, EV is a great game, I just have too many other things to do with my time than to play EV. The reason I still swing by here is because I'm the moderator.

Why do people buy PCs in the first place? Why don't you just have several macs? Anyway, it's the best game. I'm making an addon if anyone wants to try it go to the subject: Anyone want to beta test my addon? I'm a mac geek.

There are many reasons someone should buy a PC, actually. A computer is supposed to be something that increases a person's productivity (well, for the most part... games really don't fall into that category :)). Whatever OS works best for that person is the OS that the person should use. I use a Mac because I believe its the superior OS to what is out there, but primarily it is because I am much more productive on the Macintosh platform than I could be on a Windows or Linux platform; if I was more productive on a Linux machine, I'd be running it.
Also, some people need to have a PC; if their job involves PCs and they need to share files between home and work, especially if their office runs proprietary software, it would be just plain stupid to have incompatible machines between home and office. If a person uses a PC at work and has a PC and Mac at home, great, but they still need to have a PC.

Not everyone can afford multiple computers. I'm not one of those people, with three machines in my bedroom right now (iMac, G4 tower, G4 PowerBook), but that doesn't mean that everyone can.

Dont hurt yourself by falling too violently! They are confusing EVN with EV because Port Authority makes able to do EV and EVO as TCs so that people can play them on Nova.
