Let me get this straight, you can download the unregistered version now and pay $25 for a license code,or you can order the cd for a mere $5??
Actually the CD contains all Ambrosia(unregistered) games from like 1999.

No, the CD will include all of the games (including the full version of PoG) however it will not include a license code (which is required to play much of PoG).
So really, it is $5 extra if you want the convenience of having PoG on CD.
Well then I'm getting the cd, you get more for a fifth of the price.

I don't think you are understanding. You cannot get just the CD -- you can get the CD in addition to a registration code, but the CD without a reg code will not let you play the full game.
I'm curious to know how long it takes a registration code to be emailed once ordered. I remember people waiting a couple of days for codes when the game first came out, but I assumed that was because you wanted to get the game out as quickly as possible, and didn't have the codes "ready" yet.
I'm going to be ordering today, once it's 9 am EST. Can I expect my code a few hours after that?

It generally takes about a day to get your license code -- the reason is unfortunate -- with automated registration systems, there is a fair bit of fraud, so we have a human actually look at and enter each order. This also means we read all of your comments.
One thing I didn't see mentioned earlier is that this particular post was made on September 3rd, which in the United States is the Labor Day holiday. It's up there with the Fourth of July in terms of days we (Americans) expect to NOT work--no one considers it a business day. For the most part, the only businesses that were open on Labor Day are retail shops, who like to take advantage of the extra "weekend" day that helps out with business. USPS, UPS, FedEx, etc, aren't running today, so why would you expect any non-retail business to?

I ordered my registration code on Sunday, and I just received my code 20 minutes ago. Woo woo! Of course I took my lunch hour about 2 hours ago(and played a bit of POG), and now I'm back at work. So I have to wait for another 3 hours, with the reg code in my hand, before I can go register it. Thats my luck.
Anyways, I would expect your code to be getting to you soon also.
Oh, and I must say, I like John Champlin's "title." Sounds very benevolent. heh.
