Ok heres the story.Im a rebel kestrel with best upgrades,mods,outfits,etc, and ive done all rebel missions except finding the alien renegade fleet and reporting back to palshife.It says its near the asteroid belt near bottom of the map but i still cant find it.Any help is thanked.And i already screwed the mission then got it again and cant find it still.Thanks again for all help

Look in the uninhabitated systems (those are the systems with a grey ring). Search. If you do not find the alien fleet, head back to Palshife. If you do find the aliens, prepare for a battle, which you will remember for a very long time and even tell your children about...
I assume this is your first battle against the aliens, so I wish you good luck!

I found the fleet and reported to palshife.now i cant find the alien fleet to destroy.Will they be in the same system or area.Or a whole different place on the other side of the galaxy?

They will be elsewhere now. If you are playing for the Rebels (which I hope you do), you will find the aliens in either Farazon, Gamera or Canopus, I belive. Prepare for battle, my friend!

I once dominated Earth (I changed the quantity of defending ships to 1, and hence it was quite easy), and the payment was not more than you get for other planets. I belive that you even get higher payment for some of the pirate stations.
I know about that.But i already get 26,000 per day from tributes and now im guuna try the pirate systems just like you guys said.i like being rich.And also im having a problem with the cygnus alliance plug in is that when its loading and u see the docking bay full of mantas and rebels it says not enough memory plz help me!

To fix your memory problem just hilight the EV icon, go to File: Get Info: and from there increase your Prefered Memory to some large number.

When conquering Sol, get a forklift. Then buy defender and outfit it with engine upgrade and forklift. And then just fly circles around cruisers and shoot!

That is if you like to cheat.
Seriously, Sol is not very good to have. The payment is not equivalent with the amount of ships you have to destroy first.
Another good way to dominate systems is, if you have a LOT of fighters and escorts (35 or so), deploy all your fighters until the system is full, then demand tribute. The planet will send out one ship. destroy it and demand tribute again - voila! instant domination.

You can only have 6 escorts.
Hmm... But asuming that all of those 6 escorts are cruiser, who all hold 4(?) smaller ships, you have 24 ships. And asuming that you have a six ships yourself (which is max, if you are in a cruiser ship, and have bought the Hawk Bay and put two hawks therein) you get 30 ships. 31 with you.
The max is 32 ships in a system at once (right? or is it 64?), hence the Feds will manage to send out one ship at the time, and a Frigate can easily take out a Hawk, Manta or a Patrol Ship. So in the end, not even that trick will work as you after a while will be alone with a bunch of Frigates.
Sol sucks.
