Dear General Rak, I have come up with an idea that could make the IGN profit in money, but much mor in technology. It may however, be dangerous. We could possibly try to begin trading with the aliens. We can have my fleet trade for some of their sheilding and weaponry. But, we have no idea how to reach them. Falcen, infamous pirate commander, was on the move. He had struck at Liberty Station, and while his fleet was destroyed, the Emperor knew that it was only a decoy. However, he could not predict the size of the real fleet to come. He had assembled a massive assault force to be led by Admiral Tasina, to go to Liberty Station, incinerating all pirates found on the way.

Zaff stared quietly ahead while Luke explained the intricacies of his plan. Despite the terribly engrossing detail and sheer unbelievability of all he had heard, he still found his mind adrift. Perhaps it was the shock of the past few moments that was addling his mind. That ahd to be it.
But he still found himself worrying not about any behind the scenes action, but instead about the current Naval state of the human empire, despite any huge recent expansion, a Navy that was willing to poke around beyond its own borders, namely these reported "Aliens" would have to be heavily advanced, and numerically superior. And people didn't even know what they LOOKED like, who can tell what things would go on if they were to catch a spy in their midst he thought as his mind travelled back to the matters at hand.

In my previous post, the second ship was supposed to be the Hrulga, a destroyer. All shield and armor stats, of course, are ResEdit scale.

Somewhere beyond the jumpgate, in alien space, a prominent alien mercenary named Vaten floated through space in his upgraded Hrulga, the Dark Archon. He was going to rendezvous with Falcen's base at Desbar, a hidden stellar inside the Turtle Nebula. Vaten didn't care for the emperor, and he didn't care for Falcen, either, but he preferred the renegades. He made clear, however, the fact that he was a mercenary, and had no loyalties whatsoever.
He had a following, though, who were fanatically loyal to him. They had gone as far as to create a special weapon for him, an antiparticle blaster. Vaten called it the scorpion blaster. All ships in his fleet were outfitted with them, and they matched any alien primary, beam or other, ever created. In the meantime, he zoomed through space with his fleet to Desbar...
