I'm very worried about that. Will EVN become EVO but even BIGGER? The primary reason I hate (dislike) EVO is because of the size and diversity. Will EVN take the same path? Or will it be like EV but each gov has more systems? Will be there be an EV4 thats even bigger? Around EV10 we'll have billions of systems.

Well, everyone knows that the Nova galaxy will be far bigger than Override, but nobody really knows just how big. There most likely won't be an EV4, so don't even consider that an option.
I think a bigger universe will be awesome... Plenty of places to explore.

EVN will have around 530 systems. We don't know much about technology, but it appears that there will likely be some kind of common base technologies, but every government will have their own, to a greater or lesser extent. Also, the background is the size of novels - the game will be much more in depth.

For me, I stumbled upon this community just recently after having re-stumbling upon EV whilst on vacation with a PowerBook. I came to Ambrosias site for plug-ins and discovered one of the more active web boards I've ever been involved in. Very cool.
I came herewhile I was on vacation too. I wanted to download evo (cos I got ev on a disc) onto my mom's g3, and found the forums. The last time (before I discovered the boards) I was here was a few months before the boards started (I think. I didn't see 'em anyways.)

Yeah, thanksgiving would be nice. Andrew said not after December (27th or something) but not before December, or something. Don't quote me on this. I read somewhere that it will be out around Christmas, and no later, and not much sooner.

I'm in complete agreement. The Banter and Brawl has adopted to this thinking that "whatever the experienced members say goes." Of course, I have no right to say that about everyone, but posting over at the Banter and Brawl (from personal experience) will often drag you into a flame war or debates over opinions. Carno got attacked by so many members just because of closing off a topic (which needed to be locked), you would think the members ran that forum.
Oh well, maybe I've said enough. This is all coming from my view of the B & B...

I hope andrew arranges better distribution for EVN than he did for POG. If POG (120MB) slowed this server for 2 weeks, then EVN (~60MB, but much more popular) will close this joint down for months.
Anyway, if POG is 120MB and Andrew allows it to be downloaded, why is Farazels Wand still CD only? I never played FW but I saw somewhere that it is ~100MB

Actually, PoG is ~150, and I think EVN compressed will be more like ~45, but your point most definitely holds. I heard on Ambrosia Banter (not that B&B; cesspool) that Ambrosia purchased some additional bandwidth, hopefully that will help some.
Though I don't think the joint would close, as EVN can't do any more damage than PoG did, since the ftp server was full - but it can do it for a much longer period.
