BFS: Episode II - new weapons -

For any governments that invent new weapons during episode II, post the images here. I will then update the "weapons" pages for the government that creates the new weapon.

There is only one graphic required for each weapon, and that is the standard "outfit" view. That's it. 🙂

tell me if this sounds right sattomax, i kinda need a base weopon stat like some laser cannon statsto perfect this, any one please post the laser connon stats.

The new Quad Turbolaser Turret. It has yet to be fitted as standard armament to any Human Confederation ships, though that could change soon.

the guilded propulsion mine(hope you dont mind if i changed the name sattomax :frown:)

about as fast as a missile, a bit slower.lookes like a heavy rocket thats shorter and fatter with a small engine on the back that looks like an afterburner.(is that to much detail?)

I can design those graphics, but this weapon does WAY to much damage...If you do want to use this weapon with the current stats, however, I'll have to make ships armed with the weapon extrememly expensive, and not much room to carry other weapons.

It's a modified space bomb, and fine, it does EnergyDmg: 200, MassDmg: 200. That's in ResEdit scale, of course. The name's cool, and I like the pic for the Swivel P.C. Thanks.

Wait, never mind my previous post...If grunadulater was reffering to the ResEdit scale, then this weapon is rather realistic. The space bomb (on the ResEdit scale) does 750 of both mass and energy damage, so I'll go ahead and say 400 energy and mass damage is alright for your weapon. But it still won't make the ships that carry it cheap.

As for the swivel proton cannon, your welcome. Just ask if you need anything else.

For the new Alien weapon, Captain Skyblade's graphic for the Fusion Particle Beam are so good for what I wanted, I'm just going to use that for it. If I get my disagreements with Strata worked out, I'll probably redesign the Fusion Particle graphics, not the new "Needle Beam".
