I am making a new plugin (my first with ResEdit) and I need a graphic for a ship that I am going to make: the Rebel Frigate-Interceptor (I got the idea off of the EV storyboard). I have looked at numerous plugins for graphics, but have found nothing that I like. The closest was in Galactic Scourge (I can't remember what the ship is called). I want something like between a Confed Frigate and a Rebel Destroyer. I would be thankful if anyone could find or make (though I doubt anyone would make anything just for me, so you don't need to do that) a graphic for me.
PS-Please give me one with the rebel theme, not just like a stretched out Confed Frigate with red instead of blue.

First of all, I might just decide to change it to an assault frigate, and make the destroyer an interceptor because of lack of graphics. But, for now, I don't quite know what I am looking for. Maybe it could be three wings, maybe it could be a small bulk freighter-like thing with foreward swept wings. And about guns, cool looking turrets and one cool looking turreted beam.
Also, is DYNA stuff free? If it is then that would be very good, because most of the other graphics are from Clavius and Beyond. I might also find what I am looking for in DYNA systems, because I like so much of it for the other stuff in my plugin (I am not saying that other plugins are bad, but they just don't have the graphics that I am looking for).

It's amazing what you can do with a simple paint program. If all you want is a nice Rebel ship, consider the following: Take a bulk freighter, change all the green to red, and remove the middle and aft cargo containers from all views. Then fill the remaining cargo containers with more shields, weapons, etc. Justify a combat level speed by pointing out that the result has roughly 1/3 the mass of the original, but with the same total propulsive power. Ontop of all that, it fits right in line with the rebellion standard of converting freighters into warships. Oh, and if you really don't want to go to the trouble of carefully cutting out all the cargo containers, contact me and I can send you my version.

Well, I don't have any good graphics programs, unless you count Pics2Sprites, but that needs one sprite to work. Could anybody just tell me id DYNA graphics are free?
I doubt DYNA Systems would really care, since they seem to be dead. But you'll lose some face in recycling graphics from an older plugin.
Did you read the end of my message? As I said, if the notion interests you I can send you the images. No need to try to do it yourself if you can't.
And if you need unique, never before seen graphics for the rest of the plug, I have plenty lying around from some plugs I started on but never finished.

Needs a bridge (just a circular lump with a yellow line)
Fuselage is a bit to big, or wings are a little too small
This is a capital ship, not a fighter, so the guns need to be turrets, and it's gonna have a beam turret.

-the confederate cruiser has turrets, but fixed guns too, and the turrets don't show. don't worry though, i'll add some turrets

i'm trying to find time to do it, but i can't so far, do you want the ship to rotate in a 3d-view? or an eagle-eye view? plus, there are four showing beam turrets, two on each side.
What I mean by 'beam turret' is like a normal turret except with either a hole or a long rod on it. Also it'd look nice on the top of the ship. As for sprites, just the normal top view like in normal EV.
I'm just doing this to keep it on the top of the board, and make it more noticable.
