Jeez...

Hey everyone, i'm back. A lot'a new faces here, and i don't see any old ones... <sigh>... just wanted to shamelessly promote my site, Star Gurn Enterprises at (url="http://"http://www.segasonic.net/star-gurn-enterprises")http://www.segasonic...urn-enterprises(/url).

I say this with the highest respect, but with only ten posts, it's difficult to leave any lasting impression whatsoever. Don't be disapointed if a floodgate of "we've missed you" fails to open.

Nah, don't remember you at all, have forgotten all the arguments we had, including e-mail correspondence 😄

"Wow... they remember me..."

Is nash dead?

Divals

Divals!! how could anyone forget you 😛

As for nash, I've seen him post once or twice, but I think he's gone on to better things...

Was that sarcasm, Mr. Scurvey?

IMHO, for nash anything would be better...

Nash hasn't posted for about 4 days. His last post said, roughly "penises are cool". Go figure...

Based on the usual definition - brain activity - he has been dead for years.

But he still posts occasionally.

Yep, you helped me out (along with many other people-like Joe) when I was a newbie.

Ignorance is a terrible, terrible thing...
Neutronic, he was an oldie way back before the boards switched over to the hell-borne UBB boards that they are now. And, well, saying as you have NO idea of what it was like (or so it would seem by your post), I don't think you should start typing about topics that you have no ideas about. Just a tip. 😉

EVula--maybe I shouldn't, but I will anyway. How else, pray tell, shall the learning curve be climb'd?

Kevin Jordan--wryly I am new. I don't see myself hanging around for more than a few more days, though (I'm between rpgs at the moment with nothing to do) so don't give me another thought.

Heh. Divals. I know you.

BTW, if you want some reliable information, nash is still around. And, actually, you'd be surpriced that he's fairly cool. Just has a sick sense of humor, which mainly consists of pissing off Joe.

And will someone tell me what's up with this smiley stuff? It seems so AOLish. Bleh.

Divals and all the other oldies-who do you consider a "newbie"?

Someone that wasn't arround on the Old Board, or someone's that new to EV?

I registered the day the new UBB boards came in (Jan 11), so I never posted on the old boards. I have been playing EV since the year after it came out, and EVO since it came out. I have about 400 posts on the new boards. I have made 1 EV plug-in and am working on 2 more. Do you still consider me a "newbie"? Because that's a HUGE insult were I come from...

A newbie is all about your time in the EV community, not how long you have been playing EV or when you first showed up on the boards. I first visited the boards back when it was just for EV about three years ago.... back when I was a sophomore in HS. However, I actually became a regular when I finally got my ethernet connection last fall, -round September or Oct. Had my AOL connection been a bit better, I would of posted at the site last summer, rather than just downloading plugs 😃
