Actually, Champion, your friend RAN EVO on his Quadra 610. There was an error in it that when you pressed option-c to recall fighters, the game quit. I tried to convert the EV resource forks into EVO using ResEdit and then EVO thought it was EV! So i deleted it. And the installer accidently.
And everybody here who picks EVO graphics, what's wrong with them? I think the EV ones are too cartoonish. So are the EVO ones. The best graphics I've seen were in EV ultra by Theo Howell. Or the Star Wars 2 plug-in. And the Frozen Heart ones look good. So stop insulting each other's graphics because they both are terrible when compared to these marvellous things.
And some of the online shipyards are EXCELLENT!

Umm, actually it doesn't. The G4 is no more than a G3 with extra cache... its a 128 bit computer. The only time it could be considered a supercomputer is when it is doing one billion FPU per second. And only the G4 at 500 MHz can do that... when using apps optimized for that. So basically... its only a supercomputer when you have a 500 MHz G4 and are running Photoshop.... otherwise its just a overpriced G3.......

A 580. I have to turn on VM to get EVO to even RUN, and I have the speed cranked up to 225% and I use the caps lock and it's still 'Fed cruiser-speed
