Tips on using the console:

type "dir" when in a directory to get a list of files.

Yes, you can run programs from /usr (and only /usr!) on the server. That is how you infect a server with a virus 🙂 coughrevelationcough Posted Image

The omission of ls is sad but true. A fake system posing to be a unix. The other annoying part is if you accidentally backspace out the command prompt at which point it doesn't accept the command!

(Edit: Note to self: TYPE SLOWER!)

"ls" is the Unix command, but "dir" is the DOS command. Go figure...

Here a slice, there a slice,
everywhere a slice slice.

This is what I like to do:

GO TO CONSOLE:

cd sys
delete
cd usr
delete
exit

GO TO FILES

upload Revelation
exit files

GO TO CONSOLE

cd log
delete
cd usr
run Revelation

and it's all done.

I prefer

delete 1 file from the server
upload revelation

go to console
run revelation

Cause that does exactly the same thing 😉

<-- noob hacker, heheeh 😛

------------------

whats revelation? where do you get it?

------------------

Uh.....look it up in a dictionary.

By the definition of

below average

Revelation is a virus. I got it from a mission where you had to help in sending to jail the CEO of ARC. You have to log into some server that the virus was (then you copy it to your computer) then open it to other server that is in the same network, all of this was to create evidence so ARC's CEO would be sent to jail.

II think there are other ways to get them, but I don't know since this is the way I got it.

What's wrong with:

cd /
delete
shutdown

?

You can't delete on the root directory.

Many thanks for the info. Being a mac user (since 1984) actually having to tell a computer something is beyond me.

Now searching for LAN stuff.......... 😕

Agent 007, what you have just done is what we call gravedigging. Gravedigging is posting on a topic that is long dead. It is acceptable to gravedig when you have something important and relevant to post, but when you are just saying "thanks", or "me too", it is a condemned practice. You are new here and had no way of knowing, but be warned that some people have a serious dislike to gravediggers.

TheBruse, what you have just done is called annoying a moderator. Annoying a moderator is posting on a topic that has already been grave-dug. It is acceptable to add a second post when you have something important and relevant to post, but when you just tell another person not to gravedig, it is a condemned practice. You are old enough to wrongly think that you can tell other people what to do and not do, but be warned that some people have a serious dislike to being annoyed.

Now rather than simply deleting one offending post, I would ordinarily have to delete two now. However, I feel that I need to make a point that what you did isn't helping either, so now I'll just lock the topic.

This is a general request to everybody that sees a grave-dug topic: Just ignore it!
