And for further clarification, the names are not case-sensitive, but there does need to be a space between his first and last names.

I have another question: I've done a few missions to steal files and now they've filled up all my memory. I don't have enough money to buy more memory but I was wondering if there's a way to get rid of stuff from the memory? Thanks in advance

The File Deleter application should be able to delete files. Open your memory banks and run file deleter on the unimportant files.

Don't delete anything red. Red is your hacking applications. Green is mission data that after you complete the mission can go. Also, when you get to the point where you have self-destruct you should probably hack into the test machine and upload all your V5 and V4 applications like your bypasses and trace trackers and esp your LAN tools. It can save you money in the long run if you ever self destruct.

You can also do this well on a File Server if you have access to one, since they have huge capacity.
Also, the one red application you can delete is the tutorial.
Oh, wow... I never thought about trying to upload a file onto a server...
But what I do to get relatively long trace times is to first go to InterNIC. There, do a filter search for Uplink. Add all those files to your bookmarks. Then do the same with "test" as the filter. Next, go to the connections, and make a path including all the test systems, internic, and uplink systems. Hit save. From now on, just hit load, and then click on the system you need to hack.

Probably you aren't typing his name in correctly. First you need to delete the text that says something like "enter name here". Then you need to spell the name exactly right, though I don't think it cares about capital letters.

Also, sometimes I accept as many as 10-15 jobs at the same place (i.e ruin 15 peoples lives, change 15 social security documents.) Trust me, that can be profitable (also catastrophic to your neuromancer rating)

I finally got the ARC entering Terminal or whatever on InterNIC and got into arc. I bypassed the proxy, firewall, and moniter, and broke the password. How do you do the voice thing? I got the voice analyser or whatever but I don't have a mike on my computer or an external one. Not a working one anyway. What do I do?
I have done a social security thing changing their status to Deceased in under 77 seconds. I was easy too. The stupid proxy thing had me all confused at first, but then I saved up by doing the easy peasy delete-file missions and got the thing you need to have proxy, firwall and moniter bypass, got the previously listed bypasses, and used the proxy and moniter to kill the defenses.
One last thing. How do you destroy computers? just delete everything on them or what?
I can answer for the voice:
Go on the public site for the company. There, you see a "contact" button. Click. There's several phone number, whith the name/address of the managers. Add one to your favorite (yes, just like a web link). then, start the voice analyser. open the "link" you just added, and let the analyser do his job. Once it's complete, a "play" button appear. Do not quit the analyser, go back where you need a voice identification, and click on the "play" button. Done.

cd usr delete *cd log *delete cd sys delete shutdown
*=optional, but mrxak says that deleting the logs gets you a different news story.

If you sign in as readwrite it doesnt.
GOD, all you really need to do is go to interNIC and get every link in the world from there. I have gotten 8000+ seconds (did about 12 missions while I was at it too :D)
(this is for when people were talking about the slow trace time of the IAD
