Yeah, prehaps, but considering that two betas took place in less than a month, it is being tested rapidly. It's in beta 3 now, apparently, and depending on how many there end up being (doesn't appear it will be many, if it's pretty straightforward as the log says), it probably won't be very long. Not that we should be trying to guess release dates...

Well, I'm still putting my hopes and prayers on that "out before march is" statement by Andrew. Not that that's a smart thing...Especially since it doesn't even seem to be at the final candidate stage (which, with Ambrosia games, seems to take 2-4 weeks to complete). I guess I'm just hoping that the game is farther along than the progress log says....otherwise, it's definitely missing that end-of-march target.

Well, if anybody's noticed the Uplink web site is now live (no, I won't tell you how to get to it)....though lying in wait might be a better term (or perhaps "ev nova style"). Still no word from the progress logs...I can only hope that they've been negligent about updating...though I have the feeling that Uplink may indeed by released in April or May if it really still is at beta 3 (with seemingly no resolution to whatever video card driver problems that were being experienced and with the length that Ambrosia usually takes to go from fc to gm). Anyway, what I've said is pure speculation written at the stroke of midnight so take no heed from me
It'll get out eventually, and when it does I'm going to kick the 60 dollars or whatever over to Ambrosia to get me some of this thing. Love the lower American exchange rates, hate the reasons for it.
