I'd have to agree with Taz: if someone has a question about Avara, why not just ask using Avara's built-in chat system instead of posting to this forum? And yes, for the record, Ares DOES have a built-in chat system.

I would love to get an Imac, believe me, for the last couple of years i'm barely keeping the rent paid and my stomach full..and you dont even want to know what I use to surf the web right now its just that sad. Its good to hear the battles are still going on tho. I remember when Uno first started I ran him all over icebox and back again. gee those were the days sniff Clans come and go i guess. anyway, What happened to the Avara hotline server? I heard there was some sort of upgrade to avara? Has the gameplay changed much at all? I remember a bunch of Avara Xtreem servers or something like that popping up...thanx for replying guys
Gameplay hasn't changed too much (I owuld say, but been a while since I have played myself ), and Aline has a new addy: avaraline.mine.nu

Well, I'm sure as more of Ambrosia's products are released, older games like Avara and Ares will get less popular...It's a natural occurance, although it would be nice to keep this board up and running for as long as we can.

Then again, who knows. Maybe Avara will have an update and interest in it will pop up again.

True...The same goes for games like Escape Velocity. It was beginning to get unpopular when Override came out, but then extremely successful plugs like "Pale" brought EV back to life. Maybe if some update came out for Avara that improved the graphics and such was released, Avara sure would get some popularity.

Unlikely as that is for an upgrade with improved graphics (usually Ambrosia doesn't do that type of upgrade), there might be an update coming out soon - for OS X users if enough problems arise between Avara and OS X. That might not help for popularity, since its only bug fixes, but then again some people took new interest in Apeiron when v1.0.3 came out making it USB-compatible. You never will know for sure...
