I lost my pass & am too lazy to go get it so you will just have to put up with the underscore in my name
Can someone explain to me how to have a button trigger spinblocks? I have 6 spinblocks and 3 buttons. Each button should remove 2 spinblocks when it is pressed. How is this done??

Spinblocks appear when the button is pressed. If you want them to disappear you have to remove a boulder or rock barrier from the button. The Sprite infos should be (2) for info (0) and the number of the button sprite for info (1).
(Remember to leave the info(0) of the button at (0) or the button will stay down.)

Unfortunately, The player must see the button being pressed down. So if you want the player to come to the spinblock, and be forced to go back and move the boulder off the button, you may run into difficulties. Maybe someday I will be able to get Creepth Upon the Earth to work.

HmmmMMMmmm... Screw it, let's go for the rock barriers!!
And if I want a spinblock to APPEAR when a button is pressed, must the player be within visible range of the spinblocks??
No, it is just a matter of buttons being pressed. The problem does not necessarily reside in the Spinblocks, but rather the the button mechanism. Although, if the Spinblocks had a pre closed feature it would be a hell of a lot easier. Unfortunately, Ben used the Spinblocks for blocking falling boulders only, see Central Caverns, I believe.

No! he also used spinblocks in 'River of Fears' The blocks form a barrier until you remove the boulder from the switch, Thet's where I got the idea for the ice barrier in 'The Return' on the level 'trapped'.

Yes, I used the same method in Creepth Upon the Earth. But the player must see the button being pressed. My problem was that the buttons were creatively placed throughout the map, using teleporters and whatnot. This meant that the player would encounter the barrier before the button. Because frankly, what's the point if they see the button first and don't even recognize that a barrier has been moved. I solved my problem with some creative teleporter placement. Especially creative, when realizing that I had hit the 511 barrier a long time ago. Although I still ended up having to replace one spin block area with a rock barrier. When Creepth Upon the Earth is released with Extemporaneous X, then you will truly be able to appreciate it's creativity.
